"Seriously?" I ask, trying not to laugh. Joe had on his Chicken mask. I was picking him up from the office so we could go get some candy, dinner, and watch stupid scary movies.
"Yes, seriously!" He grinned. "Let's goooo!"
I laughed as he dragged me to the car. We got in and I drove us to the store. I made sure to play Monster Mash on repeat so it would get stuck in Joe's head.
We got to the store, where Joe immediately grabbed a cart and rode it inside. I followed, shaking my head and laughing at my boyfriend's childish antics.
We grabbed what we were gonna have for dinner, then went down the candy aisle. Joe piled bags and bags of different candies into our cart. Eventually, I had to stop him.
"Babe, this is way too much. Why don't we just get a few bags of assorted candies instead?" I suggested. Joe pouted, but switched out he several bags of candy for a few bags of assorted candies. I giggled at how cute he was.
We paid for our stuff, then headed home. We got inside of our house and I quickly set to cooking dinner. When it was done I served it to Joe in the living room where we could watch movies.
At one part in one of the movies, Joe thought it would be funny to scare me. "WATCH OUT!" He yelled, making me jump and throw the bowl of candy off my lap. Joe laughed hysterically.
"Oh ha ha!" I pouted. "You're an asshole."
"I love you, babe, I'm sorry." He said. He pulled me into him and gave me a big hug. I snuggled up into him, smiling in content.
"I love you, too, but you're cleaning up the mess." I told him.
"Yes ma'am!" He replied. I giggled and kissed his cheek. I loved my silly boyfriend.
