Maya

Sometimes, stress is a big part of my life.

I really didn't want Farkle to feel like me leaving was his fault. I just didn't want to go. I was dreading the day of tomorrow.

Homecoming

The tradition that's been around for years. A guy asks a girl to homecoming and they have a dance at their school that looks nothing like the movies. It would be good for me, but I don't have anyone to go with. Riley is going with Lucas, and Farkle said he has no thought of going with anyone.

I want to go with Farkle, so... so bad.

I couldn't stop staring at my dress. It was beautiful, but I couldn't go. I didn't want to follow in my moms footsteps. I know I love her, but I can't. I know Riley will make me go too.

My dreams of going to homecoming were no more.

I lay back on my bed and try to empty my mind- empty my stress. I knew a away I could. I could vent.

I ran out of my window and to Riley's window. I went into the living room and saw Topanga.

"Topanga?" I ask, she jumps and sees me.

"Oh my goodness Maya, what hate you doing here? You should be at school." She says.

"Yes. I know. But I have something bothering me and it's making me very worried." I tell her. "I can't stop thinking about it."

"Okay, we can talk about it." She replies.

"So, you know how tomorrow is homecoming right?" I ask her, she nods. "Well, I know Riley's going to make me go. I don't have a date. But the real reason I'm worried, is because my mom got pregnant with me on her homecoming night." Topanga looks at me a little strange.

"So.. You think you're going to have a baby?"

"My mom went with her best girlfriend who already had a date. There was a man who she had her eyes on, but he wanted to go alone. Then... She.. Made me by mistake by a man she didn't really know! There." I say.

"Whoa, whoa, sweetie. First of all, you were not a mistake okay?" She says. I shake my head.

"No I was! My mom barely knew my dad. He thought she was someone else." I say. She was shocked because I never talked about my family.

"I don't think any of us think you were a mistake- especially your mom. But with the homecoming thing. Don't worry, I doubt it'll happen. Besides, if someone tried it on you, I know you'd kick their butt before they laid a finger on you." That did make me feel somewhat better, because I would.

"Thank you Topanga," I give her a hug. I was still worried for tomorrow and that was for sure.

Riley

I really want to know what Farkle did! He won't tell me. I know Maya and she would not give me a clue like that for nothing. Maybe I could get it out of her. I really want to know...

Maya

I sat on my bed. I new Riley would be here any minute, probably with everyone else. I didn't know what to say to her.

"NO! Riley you go. Give us the okay." I hear Farkle. It makes me chuckle. I walk to the window and open it. I see them all, I look at Farkle,

"Silly, it's just like me being in my bathing suit." I go back in followed by everyone else.

"What does that mean?" Lucas asks. I smirk.

"Mr. Snoop was peaking in on me changing this morning." I say. I swear he was a tomato. "It's okay though. I thought about it. It is just like a bathing suit, so what's the difference. It's not like I was completely naked." I say.

"Oh, that makes a lot of sense." Riley says, then Lucas went on telling him how that was weird and he should knock first. "But what about the clue you gave me?" She asks.

"Oh, that was just me. Nothing with him." I tell them. I really wanted to be alone, but I didn't want to be rude to them. They cared about me and that was nice. I was just scared.

Topanga

"Cory. Window." I tell Cory once he got home.

"What'd I do?" He asks. He takes off his jacket and walks over.

"No, it's about something you can prevent." I rush him over. "Listen, it's about Maya." I start, he looks at me.

"What's going on?" He asks.

"Maya's scared. I can tell she really wants to go to homecoming. But she says she can't because her mom became pregnant with her on her homecoming night." I say.

"So, she thinks she's getting pregnant?" He was confused, like I was. Then I tell him everything with the friends, how it's the same with her mom and her. He looked at me and said, "That's weird."

"She said her mom didn't really know her dad. He didn't actually mean to do it with her. Thought she was someone else." He was shocked by what I said.

"That's awful." He says.

"I know. Now I know it's probably just a coincidence, but can you please go tomorrow? It's kind of freaking me out and I want Maya to be safe." I plead.

"Yes, I will. I'll keep my eye on Riley too." He says. I smile and kiss his cheek.

"Thank you."
