Maya

Wow... Christmas. It came around so fast.

So did my stomach. It came out really fast too.

So to hide it, I needed to wear baggy clothes. I didn't look like the best guest to Christmas, but I didn't want it to be obvious.

I knew that everyone would be coming at different times today. Mr. Matthews' parents, Eric, Josh, Shawn, Jack, my mom, and this guy that Mr. Matthews says was supposed to be a surprise for someone. I didn't feel like getting it out of him. Then today, Farkle and Lucas were supposed to be stopping by. They are going to try to come over tomorrow but no promises.

I sit on the couch at the Matthews' apartment. I was wrapped up in a blanket as everyone else was finishing up their wrapping. Yelling at each other to make sure they aren't looking under a door.

Buzz

I push myself up and walk towards the buzzer.

"Yes?" I say in a fancy way.

"Lucas and Farkle." Farkle talks in third person.

"Alright c'mon up peasants." I say, buzzing them in. I go back over to the couch.

"Who was it?" Topanga runs out nervously.

"Huckleberry and Robot." I say, she gives a sigh of relief as she walks back to her wrapping.

"Hey Maya. Happy Holidays." The boys come in and Lucas greets me.

"Back at you Rick." I say. I get up to make myself hot chocolate. He really either didn't care that I called him any of his nicknames, or he just ignored it.

"I'm going to go see what Riley's doing." Lucas says going to Riley's room. I chuckle knowing what will happens once her dad finds out. But then my grin wipes off, knowing their relationship isn't fully functional.

"Merry Christmas Maya." Farkle kisses my cheek. I then once again smile, then I heat up the hot chocolate.

"How's this little one been doing?" He wraps his arms around my stomach and his chin on my shoulder.

"I don't know why don't you ask him or her." I smirk in reply.

"Okay, fine." He says, trying to look over my shoulder and to my stomach, "Hey there little one, how's it going?" He asks. I give him a shove for his silliness and he backs off. "Just trying to talk to the kid." He defends himself.

"Yeah I know." I smile. "The kid controlled my reflexes and hit you." I turn around and continue with my hot chocolate.

Buzz

"More people." I throw my head back. I knew it would be a while before Shawn got here. We all knew he'd be late tonight.

"Matthews' residence, Maya speaking." I say.

"Oh Maya. It's us, Riley's grandparents." Alan replies back.

"Oh, okay Amy and Alan, you guys can come on up!" I say, then buzzing them in.

I walk back over to my hot chocolate. Farkle meets me there.

"Hey." He says, making me look at him, "Just incase we can't do it again today." He leans in and kisses me. We have a few seconds before we hear footsteps.

"Who was it now?" Topanga asks.

"Amy and Alan." I say. She looks terrified.

"Cory it's your parents!" She yells all throughout the apartment. I finally get to feel the warmness of the good hot chocolate down my throat.

"Oh okay. No need to panic this year will go fine even though we have so many people in his tiny apartment." Mr. Matthews says. Christmas had always been okay, but now there's so many mouths to feed, more presents to hide, and less places to sleep.

There was a knock on the door. Mr. Matthews walks over and opens the door.

"Hi mom, hi dad." He hugs both of his parents. They remember myself and Farkle introduces himself.

"Cory. Is there a way I can get you to go somewhere else for a few minutes?" His mother asks nicely.

"But mom you just got here." He says. I smirk knowing a way I can get him to leave her alone.

"Cory," If I called him by his last name both him and his dad would look. "Lucas is in your daughters room."

He gets that look on his look in his face- the one I love so much! He looks scared, terrified, and angry all at the same time. Then runs off to Riley's room.

"Okay, now Topanga.." Amy trails off to talk to Topanga. Farkle takes my hand and we go sit on the couch.

"So, when everyone's here, how will you tell the rest of them?" I loved him, but I wanted to smack him when he brought this stuff up. I wanted to enjoy my moments and not worry about everything all the time.

"Let me tell you, parking a car is so hard to do in New York."

Oh.

"Hey Josh what's up?" Farkle says as he enters.

"Sup. Hey, there's no more turtleneck." They give each other a fist bump, and I stand up holding my arms out. He looks a little afraid but then realizes it's just a hug. He hugs me.

"Nice to see you." I say before sitting back down on the couch.

"You've matured a lot Maya. I can tell that you have this time and it's not a lie. It's cute." He says before walking off. My eyebrows rise. I almost though about saying, 'Excuse me' but I didn't.

"Maya, he doesn't know about us, remember?" Farkle says. "No one does but us." He secretly grabs my hand so no one else can see it.

Then, all three Lucas, Mr. Matthews, and Riley all come out of the room. Me Matthews with a smirk, and the other two looking terrified.

"What'd you do to them?" I ask.

"Oh just a chat." He smirks, walking off to greet his brother.
