17 1 3

Hey! It has certainly been a while since I have updated! A lot of things have happened, actually, and I guess I haven't found the time to write. This chapter might be a long one.

Wow! Let's start off with my pack. I left it! Yep. I left a few days ago, actually, and I was originally intending to write then because it felt more appropriate. I've started a new pack, if you're in Australia and interested in joining, private message me. It's going well so far, I'm the alpha male and my friend is the alpha female.

Why I left my previous pack? Well, the alpha was being too much of a stuck up shithead and I decided it was time for me to go. Not only did he shoot me down when I presented an opinion, but he constantly made me and all of the members below him feel trashy. If you're an alpha, it is your duty to make everyone in the pack feel better than you. It's a family. He's also super super emo teen wolf. Literally, his instagram is pictures of him with his hair covering his eyes, with a black studded collar and those spike punk bracelets. Other than that it's pictures of wolves and depressing quotes. I think I was just done with being put in that image.

In other news, I got a new tail! It is a tail from a silver fox, and it has wonderful shades of black and grey running throughout it, and a white tip. If you part the fur in the thicker section of the fur, you'll notice it's actually a soft blue colour. It's super soft, too. One flaw might be that the leather was too thin, and it ripped a few weeks after I got it. I don't just mean it ripped at the top, it literally ripped straight down the middle of the tail, into two big pieces. I sewed it back together, though, and it's as good as new.

I also went to the arboretum in the dandenong ranges. I hadn't visited there since I was about 5 years old! It was absolutely stunning, as we went there at sunset. The pale view of the yarra valley stretching for miles with the soft hues of the bright sky lowering was breathtaking. It's also filled with deciduous and coniferous trees. Living in Australia, It's hard to escape the gum trees everywhere. I get sick of the bushy nature sometimes. It's too dry and hot for me. But these trees are so so so beautiful! The arrival of spring made the whole trip even better. The ground was littered with alpine scrub and the beginnings of ferns, considering we were so high up. It felt like it was where I was supposed to be. I wore my tail up there as well.

Another place I ventured was to Emerald Lake Park again! My mum and I bought our dogs along too. I didn't wear my tail there, because a lot of people do visit the main section of the park. My mum and I took a discreet trail, going up to a wishing well. The fresh leaves of spring glittered in the sun, leaving a golden light shining on whatever had canopy above it. It really is refreshing to hear a small stream trickling and seeing glimmering, vibrant leaves all around. After that, I crossed over past a secret stream, and to another track. There had been a fern plantation in winter, and I distinctly remember seeing how much they had all grown. I have a few great photos of the place.

Last one about going to forests- I went to a rainforest reserve just past Healseville just this weekend. I can't remember the name of the place, but it is absolutely gorgeous. There were loads of butterflies, and a surprising number of skinks! Speaking of skinks, they were fucking huge. Not the typical small ones you see on the pavement, no. These guys were like 4 centimetres across. Anyways, the whole place was made up of towering gum trees and ferns. Moss also covered the ground, making the whole lighting of the place really green and beautiful. I bought my professional camera up there too, and I've got some awesome macro shots of the wildlife.

So yeah! That's about what's happened so far.. What else to talk about. Oh! I'll be going to AMC expo in Melbourne on saturday! It used to be called Armageddon expo, but whatever. If you see me, say hi! I'll be wearing my tail and probably my therian necklace. Look for short brown hair and black clothes.

Halloween is also coming up. At first, I was thinking of going as a werewolf (typical, I know), but then I think I've settled on creepy murderer with a mask. Depends on my mood and what I can pick up at the craft store.

So yeah, that's about it. If you want to join my pack, again, private message me. You're going to need kik, though. Also, if any of you know of any pine/spruce forests in Victoria, let me know! I need more locations to visit on the weekends. Seeya!

(EDIT: Whoops I wrote about my tail in the last chapter. Not removing it bc I liked how I wrote it.)
