((11 years later))
"Auntie Noah! Auntie Noah!" I turned my head to look at my niece. Dang, Isabel has gotten so big! She was almost eleven. Her long brown hair came down to her waist. The older she got the more she looked like Sloan. Her eyes were fierce blue. Isabel was wearing a pink sun dress, I mean it was summertime.
"Yes Bella? What's wrong?" I asked her. I knew what was coming next. One of my kids did something. Yes I have children! I have an oldest girl, Amelia she was eight, uh huh I had her a twenty, don't judge. Then a little boy, Nathan, he was three. Then lastly Ally, my youngest baby girl. She was a month and half.
"Auntie, Mia"- Amelia's nick name-"Mia wouldn't share her dolls with me. She said they were only hers and I couldn't play with them." Isabel looked like she was going to cry. I touched her arm soothingly.
"Alright Bella. It's okay don't cry. I'll deal with Amelia." Bella nodded at what I said and ran away. I sighed, kids were lots of work.
"Amelia Destiny Shepard, get in here now!" I yelled. Slowly I saw my beautiful little girl appear at the top of the stairs and walk down super slowly, knowing what was about to go down. Every Sunday we would come to Aaron's parents house after church for food. So we could all catch up, what with our busy lives. Once Amelia hit the last step she walked even slower over to me. She ran a shaky hand through her curly black hair. I've noticed, she did this when she was nervous. When Amelia was closer to me she shot her eyes down to the ground.
"Amelia, what do you think I'm going to ask you?" I asked in a super calm voice. She sighed and started tugging on her blue shirt. Amelia kicked the ground, trying to by time.
"Mommy, Isabel was trying to play with my favorite dolly, and I told her not to touch it then she got mad at me and said she was gonna tell you and I said no don't tell mommy then she stuck her tongue out at me and went to tell you." Amelia explained.
"Well baby, maybe you should share, or even say, why don't we play with other dolls so it can eliminate any problems or drama between the two of you. Okay? You guys are cousins, so you'll be seeing each other a lot. You two are going to have to start getting along." I told my daughter.
"Okay Mommy." She said pouting. I placed my hands on the sides of her face and kissed her on the forehead.
"Mommy still loves you Amelia, even though you make mistakes." Amelia's face lit up and she kissed me on my forehead.
"Amelia loves you too mommy." She said and ran off. I didn't even get a chance to let out a breath before the door swung open and Mattie came into the house. He had a beard now and his hair was shorter than it used to be. Mattie had gotten married to a commanding officer in the army. Since he couldn't go into training or combat any more, he decided to help make the plans of the attacks and so on and so forth. That's where he met Michelle. She worked along side him for three years before he popped the question. Michelle had fiery red hair and a pale complexion but never the less she was still stunning. She had a eight month baby in her stomach and was on maternity leave.
"Hey Noah!"Mattie said to me as soon as we locked eyes. I got up off the couch and gave him a big hug. Gosh, I loved my brother. I released him and walked over to my sister-in-law. She smiled at me and wrapped me in a hug. We released and I kissed her stomach, I couldn't wait to meet my niece or nephew they planned on keeping it a surprise. I felt something run into my leg then. I looked down then to see my little three year old, Nathan. Reaching his hands up so I could carry him.
