That shut me up. Now it was up to me if he went or not. Crap. I had not planned on going to the game at all since what happened at the pep rally. It just felt stupid to me to even consider. I sighed. This really sucked. But with everything he's done for me in this last day I had to make a sacrifice for him.
"Fine. I'll go." I said with more assurance than I thought I could muster. Parker's eyes went wide (again). He looked shocked at my answer.
"What?!" He asked.
"I said I'll go. Which means I have to cheer on the sidelines, so we gotta get dressed."
"You don't have to do this Noah. For real like, I'm good with Call of Duty." I shook my head.
"Nope we're going come on." I stood up and walked over to him in his bean bag chair and helped him up. He jumped up, once he was off the chair, kissed me on top the head (made the mwahh sound) and ran upstairs to get dressed. I trudged out of the basement and followed him up the stairs. My bag with my uniform was in the same place it was when I'd arrived at 4:15. I opened it up and pulled out the same cheer uniform I was wearing at the pep rally. I turned around to make sure he wasn't in here so I could change. He wasn't. That was my cue to pull off his giant shirt and shorts. I hiked on my tiny little skirt and pulled the top over my head, it hugged my body so tight sometimes I thought it'd suffocate me. It was still damp from my tears this afternoon. I then unloosened my braid and my hair was semi-curly. It came to my bellybutton. Parker's door creaked open and I turned at the noise. Parker was standing in the door way with his mouth half open. He was wearing a tigers shirt(the school provided them at the spirit store) and jeans with Jordan's, classic. Parker's hair was in his usual swoop.
"What? Is it my hair?" I asked trying to check to see if something was wrong. Parker shook his head and entered his room. He walked over to his bed and plopped on the edge. I spun around to follow his eyes. Clearly something was wrong and he wasn't telling me. "Parker, what the heck? Is something wrong?"
"No, you just-"
"I just what?"
"You look really pretty that's all." That was unexpected.
"Haha thanks." He blinked twice and pulled out his phone. I peered over to see the time said 6:37. We had to get moving! "Okay I'm going to apply some makeup and fix my hair then we can go! I'll go fast." I grabbed my cosmetics bag and dashed to his bathroom. I quickly applied mascara and blush and a little bit of pink lip gloss. Then for my dark thick mane. I did a cute half up half down style and put on my orange bow (our school colors were navy black and white but since our mascot was a tiger we had a orange bow). I rushed back to his room and packed my bag and met Parker in his car. Luckily he lived like 5 minutes away from school so we didn't miss the game, in fact we were early. He gave me a quick good luck hug and I held on a little too long, oops, it just his hugs feel like Mattie's. Then I rushed down to the field and met up with my team , who were very excited and shocked that I showed up. Coach told me she was sorry that that happened to me and that she was glad I didn't it let get to me. Also that she told that she talked to his coach and told him it was bullying (what he did to me today) and he should be suspended. So his coach agreed to some kind of punishment so he had to sit out the big game! Ha that made me smile.
After she told me that I left and went with my stunt group and so we could start warming up, because we had 3 minutes before the game started.
"OMG Noah! We're so glad you came!" Kila said to me when I first got to the group. Kila was so pretty. She had short black hair and mocha skin. She was very tall and had a really great hour glass figure. She was literally hairless and never had to shave (lucky)!
