Blast from the Past

*Liv's P.O.V*
It's been a few days since I fainted ; Soryu is trying to convince me to take another day off from work, but I can't without causing trouble for everyone else. Finally after arguing he relented and I got to go to work.

*In the locker room before Jess*
When I walk into the locker room I am greeted by a worried Chisato and a worried Sakiko.
"Are you ok?!" Sakiko asks.
"Yeah I'm fine," I say with a smile.
" But you fainted at work and the. You were out for three days," she states.
" I was just tired and now I'm rested up and ready to start work," I exclaim.
"Just don't over exert yourself, O.K?" Chisato asks with a warm smile.

O.K," I say returning her smile.

"Any who, guess what," Sakiko says excitedly.

"What?" I ask.

"There's going to be another I.V.C!" she reply's almost screaming.

" Yeah I know," I say trying to calm her down.

"Wouldn't it be just amazing to fall in love with one of the V.I.P'S just like you did," she states.

"It's not all fun and games," I mumble.

"Yeah, yeah whatever," she says waving me off.

"Let her enjoy her fantasies," Chisato says whispering in my ear.

I giggle and reply to her, "Until she finds out that the outcome is pretty low."

"Yeah," she says now also starting to giggle.

"Hey! I heard that," she says waving her fist playfully.

"Heard what?" I ask trying to act innocent which isn't easy because I'm still trying to stop giggling.

Chisato breaks us up and says "Come on guys we are gonna be late to the meeting if we don't hurry up."

"O.K" we both reply and start to get ready.

*Morning meeting*

"Good morning everyone," Mr. Kenzaki greets us at the morning meeting.

"Good morning," Mr. Kenzaki we all reply.

"Today we have someone new," Mr. Kenzaki says. "Jess will you like to introduce yourself."

A girl with red hair and looks to be around my age steps forwards and introduces her self "Hi everybody, my name is Jess Frost and I look forward to working with you all."When she was done she stepped back.

*Flashback* 

"Can't catch me," my friend says before climbing up the tree.

"Heeey, no fair Jess you know I'm not as good at climbing trees,"I whine.

"And that is why I came up here," she taunts sticking her tongue out at me.

"That does it, I'm coming up," I say before I start to climb the tree.

"Oh, no what ever shall I do,"she fakes being scared.

"Stay there so I can catch you," I suggest.

"But that's not fun," she says before slipping away from my grasp and going back down the tree.

"Hey, no fair," I say making my way back down the tree which is always the hard part for me.

"Nope that was totally fair," she says.

"No it wasn't," I reply and lightly shove her when my feet are on the ground.

"Was to," she states and shoves me right back.

*End of Flashback*

"O.K, Jess you will be pairing up with Liv so she can show you the ropes," Mr. Kenzaki says snapping me right out of my flashback.

"Yes, Mr Kenzaki," Jess says.

" Is that O.K with you Liv?" he asks me.

"Yes Mr. Kenzaki," I answered.

"That's the end of the meeting time to get to work," Mr. Kenzaki said and everyone disperses.

She walks up to me and says "Hi, I hope we can be great friends."

" Yeah me to," I says extending my hand for a handshake. She stands there for a few moments fidgeting before she takes my hand and gives me a light handshake.

" Soo... what's first on the agenda?" she asks probably to get rid of the awkwardness.

"We clean rooms 10B, 10C,10D, 11H,11I, and 11J and then we have to start setting up for the next I.V.C," I answer.

" Wow that's a lot for just two people we better get started," she say while  following behind me. " Hey I didn't catch your last name."

"It's Mose, Liv Mose," I answer.

"Mose.." she mumbles.

"Did you say something?" I ask.

"Nope, nothing," she reply's."Let's get to work."

*Time Skip to end of the day*

"Good work today Jess," I say before I go into my apartment.

"You to," Jess replies and opens her door to her new home.

When I get into my apartment I immediately fall onto the be exhausted from today's work. My mind drifts to Jess who seems vaguely familiar, even though I have no clue why.
