Chapter 4

Hi, if you are new to this story, then please let me inform you: this story was started in 2015 and under the guidance of only one book and my overactive imagination. The results aren't good (check the apolagies chapter at the end if you wanna see it for yourself, a list of all the bad things I noticed recently about this book) and therefore I am currently rewriting this, hopefully making it a lot better. Still, I'm letting this stay here for a while for people to have a slight notion of what I tried to achieve those years ago and what I'm gonna improve on now. "Hey! Pass me the ropes, Gally!"

I woke up, but did not open my eyes.
There was someone in there. But those voices...I didn't know them.

"Why does Minho even makes us do this? Isn't he the one who found her? Then he can do the job!"

"The way you talk makes me think that you are afraid to be down there! It's a girl, Gally! A shucking girl! You should be happy! Did you saw the look on everyone's faces when they heard about it? And we get the first glances at her!"
Whoever said that was clearly fascinated.

"Who said I'm not? Finally they give us something to look at! But why wasn't she in the box?" I heard the voice close to me say.

"You don't seem happy! You seem suspicious! Just let it go for a while,Gally, enjoy this! And I'm betting you will enjoy it more when she's awake!"

"Don't get your hopes too high man. This is weird. Why do they send a girl after so many time? And why is she here? How did she even get here? The Maze changes every night. Man, don't acuse me of being suspicious, you're the one that shouldn't be like that. This is messed up, you know? I bet she knows stuff about us."

"Relax, you shank. You say that of everyone that acts different."

They really had no idea that I was hearing them.
The 'Gally Guy' just snorted.
"Just get her up there! You will see when I'm right."
I was scared. I didn't move a muscle. Whatever they wanted to do with me now, that was unclear.
Soon enough, I felt hands pulling me up and tying some ropes around my torso. They were ropes made of ivy.

"Okay, all settled up in here!" The boy that was in the hole with me said.
I was being lifted, that was for sure. I continued to pretend that I was unconscious, once that I had no idea of what to do.
But for sure that someone was getting me out of that hole.
When I was reaching the top, the other guy grabbed by my shoulders, and I think that I hitted my shoulder, because something snapped and it started to hurt really bad.

And then I ruined the whole thing because I shouted a loud involuntary 'Ow!', and the guy dropped me on the ground.

I hitted my head, a strong pain in my skull, so everything went fuzzy for a while. And my shoulder was hurting a little bit like hell.
"Holly shuck, she's awake and I dropped her!" The guy replied to Gally.
"Winston, you dropped the girl?! What the shuck dude!"
I tried to get up but ended up stumbling a little and the guy had to get a grip of my arm so that I wouldn't fall again.
"H-Hey, are you alright?" Winston asked.
I shook my head.

"I'm dizzy..."
I looked around and to the hole, where Gally stood.
"Are you gonna leave him there?"

Winston didn't moved, he was just staring at me.
"Come on, stop staring at me, your friend is down there." I said quietly, rubbing my head.

"Yeah, I know, its just...I never saw a girl before. Or at least, I don't remember seing one..."
I blushed and hugged myself in an attempt to cover myself, even though I was fully dressed.
"D-don't say that!"
"Hey! Stop staring and start helping!" Gally shoutted from inside the hole.
