*Perry's P.O.V.*

For the first time in a while I woke up to silence and the quiet sleeping noises of Beau and Clarity. No TV, no crying, no nothing. Thank God. I rolled over to the edge of the bed and grabbed my phone, quickly scrolling through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. When I felt I had sufficiently looked at enough posts, I got up quietly, slipping my feet into my slippers and heading out the master bedroom, down the stairs and into the kitchen. In the kitchen, I set my coffee to brew and took out some frozen waffles, placing them in the toaster. It wasn't long before Beau came down the stairs to join me.

"Good morning sweetheart." He said, giving me a quick kiss on my temple. He fixed himself a cup of coffee and sat next to me. "How did you sleep?" He asked.

"Pretty well," I replied "Probably the best I've slept in a while, how about you?"

"I went to bed around two and so did Kendall." He said, looking slightly annoyed. I didn't need to question whether or not he had been working on music, because I knew he had been. It became pretty clear he was annoyed with my sister.

"What'd she do now?" I asked, sipping on my coffee.

"She's just becoming more and more irresponsible. I don't mean this in a particularly rude way but wasn't this only supposed to be a visit?" He said.

"Yeah," I said, "But we can't send her back there...back home, I mean."

"Hm. Well she could at least get a job, She can't stay here forever." He persisted.

"I know," I said, "I'll talk to her today, we're going shopping." I said grinning.

"Oh really?"

"For our date tonight." I said, realizing my mug was empty and getting up to place it in the sink.

...

By twelve o' clock Kendall had woken up. Finally. Beau had left to Jared's house to work on the new album and hang out while Clarity, Kendall and I piled in the car and drove to the mall. On the way there I attempted to start up a conversation with Kendall about what Beau and I had discussed earlier.

"So Beau told me you came home pretty late last night." I said, halfway regretting my clumsy start to a bad conversation.

"Beau tells you all kinds of bullshit." She replied. I sighed.

"You know Kendall, you've got to start attempting to get along with him." I said, "Especially if you're going to live with us."

"Honestly Perry, it's kind of hard to do that when all he's ever done is accuse me of things and get in my face about stuff that doesn't matter." She said, turning her body away from me to look out the window.

"I know and I'm sorry about all of that," I said. "You've been through a lot Kendall, more than any eighteen year old girl should have to go through. We're here for you and we're trying to get you up on your feet, but you're going to need to cooperate while you're staying with us. What about trying to get a job?" I asked.

"I don't know." She replied. It was silent for the rest of the drive.

Inside the mall, we walked around and finally found a store that looked fitting for the occasion. I tried on all kinds of dresses with the help of Kendall and finally chose a semi-formal, black lace dress that was sleeveless and reached my knees. It was form fitting and made me feel pretty confident despite my body bouncing back from pregnancy. After we purchased the dress, I bought us lunch and headed home. When we got home, I put Clarity down for a nap and continued to press on with Kendall. We sat at the kitchen table and analyzed all the options.

"Did you ever finish high school?" I asked cautiously, it would be pointless to upset her this early on in the conversation.

"No, I dropped out." She replied half-heartedly.

"Well, without a diploma your job options will be limited." I said, "I'm sure we could find you a job, but it won't be much...probably a fast food place." She just nodded, not really sure how to answer. I continued on. "We could probably find a way to get you a GED and graduate so you can move on with your life but the process won't be easy."

"Yeah, I know." She said.

"Why don't we work on getting you a basic job first, then we'll move on." I suggested. She nodded, getting up and heading to her room.

"Thanks Per." She said before shutting the door. I sat in silence for a little while, contemplating how I was going to balance my relationship with my sister and my boyfriend while still keeping up with my motherly duties. I decided eventually, for the sake of my sister that it was time to visit my mother.

...

Beau had come home around four in the afternoon and by six the two of us were ready for our date. I was very excited and felt this date was very important for our relationship. Recently with all of the things going on in our lives we hadn't had a chance to slow down and focus on our relationship. We hopped in the car, Clarity accompanying us, and drove to the restaurant.

"You look beautiful tonight, Perry." Beau said, glancing over at me and squeezing my hand.

"Thanks." I said, blushing. Beau pulled the car up to a nice looking restaurant, with all kinds of plants and lights draped around, even a small pond with fish. We decided to eat outside on the patio. It was a gorgeous evening and Beau and I both enjoyed the sky starting to change colors.

"Beau," I said, catching his attention from the sky. "I love you."

He smiled at me, "I love you more baby."

I leaned over, giving him a peck on the lips. By the time both of us had finished our foods, the sky had turned into a blanket of stars and the lights became a dim romantic setting. It had been a while since I had been in such beautiful surroundings and it gave me chills. Both beau and I stood up to head to the car, I picked up Clarity in my right arm and started to walk, but before I could really go anywhere Beau stopped me, standing in front of me. He grabbed my free hand and stared into my eyes in a way that gave me butterflies. He started to smile uncontrollably and looked down at our hands. I yet again got chills. I laughed a little and looked back up to meet my eyes.

"Hey Perry," He started. "I want you to know that you are honestly the most beautiful and strongest woman I have ever laid eyes on. You are all I could ever ask for and the fact that you are constantly supporting me and our family makes me so happy. I know that we met almost by accident, I mean what are the chances of actually dating a girl you met at your own show?," he giggled a little. "I know recently things have been a little hard, but I want you to know that I will always be here for you and stand by you when you need me. I want to make you as happy as you make me," He let go of my hand and reached into his pocket. "So, Ms. Perry Alyssa Huwitt, would you do me the honor of becoming Mrs. Perry Alyssa Bokan?" He said, getting down on one knee, " Will you marry me?"

Tears started to flood my eyes and I covered my mouth in disbelief.

"Yes of course!" I said, shedding tears of joy. Beau slipped the ring onto my finger and pulled me into a hug. A small crowd of guest eating at the restaurant cheered.

"God, I love you." I cried into his shoulder, Beau released our hug and kissed Clarity on the head, then turning to me to give me a kiss.

"Let's head home." He said to me, never losing his smile.

This was the happiest moment of my entire life.
