Joanna's POV

" Did you guys hear? Henry asked Ashley on a date and she actually said yes," Denise said making my friends squeal in the back." Joanna, should we go still go shopping or just go to Chipotle after school?" I shrugged not really wanting to do anything. My mind just kept thinking of Hudson. Her white smile. Her soft touchable face. Those amazing eyes. Her soft luscious lips...

I was suddenly tapped on and broken away from my sweet thoughts." Umm the mall, I guess." Denise looked at me funny." Wow someone is under the weather. Are you okay?" I nodded to reassure them." Well cheer up. Plus there will be a lot cute boy toys." she smirked sending me a wink. I didn't want boy toys. I just wanted someone who would make me feel loved. Protected. Free. When I thought about that, Hudson came to mind.

" We're here," I said turning off my car and grabbing my bag." Thank gosh, there's no cheer practice today, I showed up to the game on Friday and it was raining so my uniform stinks." Denise complained. I walked through the parking lot while following along with their chatter. I still kinda hated them for telling my secret but they have been my sisters. Arriving at our usual spot, Hudson had just arrived.

I felt myself smile but it faded when Emma hugged her. She smoothly took off her helmet and flashed her amazing smile. Her harley looked upgraded and so nice. She suddenly turned my way causing my cheeks to get red and warm. I looked down to hide my blush." Oh someone is heated," Cassie, my best friend, said causing the group to giggle and shake me." So who is it?" they all said creeping on to me." It's a secret." I said making them all whine.

" You better hope West doesn't find out. You know what happened to that guy who asked you out last year."

Flashback -" Joanna, can I talked to you really quick?" Ron said pulling me aside." He handed me a rose and a bear." Will you go out with me?" before I could of said something my evil jealous ex pushed him into the lockers." Come near my girl and you say goodbye to that pretty face," I mouthed sorry to Ron feeling bad. West shoved him to the side and walked towards me." Hey babe," I frowned." I'm not your babe and stay away from me," I said trying to leave but he gripped me by me waist." Get your hands off of her," my group of friends fighting him off of me letting me escape.

Remembering that ugly memory only made me mad." I don't care what he thinks. He's not my boyfriend." The bell rang making us all go our separate ways. I entered my class instantly receiving quick glances from Hudson. I saw that she blushed when she caught my gaze while checking me out. I sat behind her so I could glance at her all I wanted without her noticing. She'll keep my mind occupied, making me smirk a little.

Lunch

I sat last in our usual table." Careful, West is sending looks at you Joanna." I caught his gaze making vomit like faces at him making my friends laughed. I continued on eating till I felt eyes bore into the side of my face. Hudson. I sent a smile receiving one back making me blush. After plenty of mutual smiles and finishing my salad, I gathered my trash throwing it away." I'll be right back, I'm going to the restroom," as I made my way through, I felt something pull me back.

" Where you going Joanna? I'm right here," he smirked wickedly." What do you want?" I said pulling my wrist back. He's 6 feet tall while I'm 5'6 so you could imagine how much stronger he is than me." I want you back. I've thinking about a lot about us," I frowned." Don't you think you're a year late," I continued to walk away until he pulled me back." You like someone else don't you?" he said furiously, tightening his hand around my wrist." You're hurting me West," I could feel everyone looking at us.

I heard a chair scraping the floor. It was Hudson arguing with Emma trying to get up." Actually I do," I pulled my wrist harshly running over to Hudson. I pulled her close to me smashing our bodies together. I was centimeters away from her face. I roughly smashed our lips together. People were gasping and cheering but I didn't care.

I pulled away speechless." Her!" West was coming towards Hudson. As he swung his fist towards Hudson, she caught it. It made everyone gasp loudly. They were the same height making it even between them. She lifted her right fist smashing it into the left side of his face. She watched as he fell down knocked out. People were recording holding their mouths and others laughing. I suddenly felt Hudson pull me out the cafeteria and into the parking lot.

" Where are we going?" she didn't answer. She handed me a helmet. She turned on her bike." Hold on tight," I immediately wrapped my arms around her waist. She stepped on the pedal leaving tire smoke behind. I knew we were headed to her loft. After the pleasant ride, Hudson began to slow down turning down a familiar hill.

As we arrived, she stopped for a moment." Are you okay?" she said examining my wrist. Every time she barely moved it, it hurt making me yelp." It's sprained," she said. She pulled me into the house leading me to a comfy looking room." I took classes for stuff like this at a summer camp. They always come in handy." she said calmly. She took out a kit bringing out bandage wrapping. She took hold of my wrist while starting to wrap it. I noticed her right knuckles were purple and a little bloody.

" Don't worry about me, I'm fine. I'm more concerned about you right now." I smiled hearing those words from her." Done lets just rest for now. We can relaxed until tomorrow. Oh and one more thing. If he's giving you trouble, call me and I'll kick his ass again," she said walking me to my room.

In that very moment, Hudson made me feel safe.

" Joanna, would you want to take a walk at the beach later... with me?" She asked rubbing the back of her neck." That would be lovely ," I blushed smiling down. Her hand lifted my chin making us gaze into each other's eyes." You don't need to be embarrassed if I know you like me," I blushed while punching her in the shoulder with my good hand." Don't worry, I have a secret to tell you too." She shifted to my ear." I like you too," the chills went down my spine feeling the warmth of her breath.

She walked away. I felt possessed feeling my feet follow in her footsteps. I stopped as she went out the door. Great I was alone again. An idea hit me. Why don't I go into her room...
