Hudson's POV

I felt the warmness of the blanket against my bare skin. At least I was in boy shorts. I rolled over immediately seeing an almost bare back. There was a black lace bra and... the tag says Victoria's secret. I reached out to caress her hair but she turned my way, making me nervously blushing.

" Morning Mattie." She said as she flashed her gorgeous smile." Morning to you beautiful," I smiled back. I grabbed my shirt by me and slipped it on. I swung my feet over the bed, walking to my cabinet of clothes. I pick a light sweatshirt and short shorts.

" Here, to cover that beautiful body of yours," I received a cute blush. I walked over to her leaning down to face her." When you're ready, I'll be downstairs cooking breakfast for us." She gave me a confused look." What about Emma?" she asked.

" She left at 2 in the morning. While we were... you know." I sent a blush thinking about our steaming hot night." Alright beautiful, meet me downstairs." I planted a light kiss on her forehead.

10 minutes later

I was currently flipping my cute banana pancakes. I was about flip my pancakes but I felt a set of arms wrap around my waist. I felt her snuggle her head in the middle of my back.

" What are you doing to me? I only get this feeling of butterflies in my stomach around you," I smiled knowing I didn't have to make her fall, she fell for me on her own.

" Well... I think It means you like me." I could feel the hair rise on my arms while she kissed my neck." I guess I do really like you," I blushed feeling my heart jump around in my chest until the doorbell rang.

" I'll get it. It's probably my neighbor Rob from down the road," I said. I turned off my stove, putting the pancakes on the side. I jogged to the front door opening it." Hey Rob, do you need my... oh honey bagels" I stopped in my words and just stared at... my ex from freshman year.

Gia...

I thought she would never find me again." Mattie, I finally found you after these years. We have so much to catch up on..." I stared at her remembering who I used to belong to. I closed the door behind me so she couldn't see inside.

" Gia, what are you doing here?" I asked nervously thinking what if Joanna comes out.

Trouble

" I stopped by your house and your mom remembered me and we talked for hours yesterday. I slept the night in your room. Your mom told me to come here. I've been looking for you since you left me freshman year," she said while smiling faintly.

" Well, we broke up remember. You dumped me during that summer to High School." I said while feeling a little pain but you know... I really liked her. She helped me to get Joanna off my mind. For a while...

" And that's why I came back. I came here for you." I frowned knowing she came back for nothing." Don't you think your a few years late Gia. And besides, I have someone now," her hopeful smile disappeared into madness.

" Who? Who are you with now?" she said angrily." Gia calm down. "Just go home and move on, you deserve someone better." I said pointing to the road. She started shedding loose tears.

" You'll pay for it. Just wait and see," she wiped her eyes while running off to the hill. I walked back into my loft." Who was that?" Joanna asked." Just a stranger," I said walking back to the kitchen.

I thought of Gia and I when we were younger. After I exchanged schools again during 6th grade, I was an outcast. Everyone thought I was weird. Most girls thought I was cute... for a guy. A few days later, Gia saw me eating out in the field by myself. She walked over to me and sat there staring at me.

I couldn't help to look up. A cute geeky girl with huge glasses and braces. As she examined my face, a stare went to a smile." I guess I like you, you look sweet. I'm Gia. I'm invisible here so I never really get noticed around here." she said as she smiled faintly at me.

A week later, we were best friends. She would come over my house and occasionally slept over. As we entered 8th grade, I noticed the way Gia looked at me changed. Her face seemed to soften and shyly smile. I knew something was going on but I didn't know the reason.

Gia invited me over to study for a big test at the end of the quarter. We walked in and her mother usually greeted us as we jogged upstairs. We walked into her room and I sat at the corner of her bed. She left to use the bathroom leaving me alone in her room.

As she left, I searched for her diary. I knew it was stupid but I needed answers. I found it under her pillow. I started flipping through the pages. "HUDSON" in bold letters and little hearts scattered among the page. I started reading and it all hit me in that one moment.

Gia liked me since the first day we met. As I sat there in shock, Gia walked in seeing her diary in my hands. She looked for words to say but tears fell instead. She instantly shielded herself as I walked towards her. Instead of losing it, I hugged her tightly making her feel at ease.

I did love her warmth and the way she made my mind clear. Well almost...

After a week, we became an official couple. Some big changes happened after school ended. She went to a camp and I was back home waiting till school started again. I began gaining weight so I went to the gym a lot. She came back a day before school started.

I remember freshman year like was yesterday. I got my schedule and went on the hunt for Gia. I wandered back to the field where we would probably be eating our lunch at.

I looked around until a pretty girl tapped on my shoulder." Do you need help?" I said. She immediately rolled her eyes and crashed her lips against mine. Only Gia's lips were as soft and plump like these and her amazingly sweet chapstick.

She had completely changed. Everything. She became popular the first week and I slowly felt lonelier. She had forgotten about me...

During the first week, we had a huge fight. I threaten to leave. She said if I left, she didn't want to talk to me ever again. I left running because I felt like I wasn't need anymore.

I came back here. I knew I could start again. And I did...

Monday

Joanna leaned against my locker waiting for something. I knew what it was." Mattie aren't you forgetting something?" she said as she smirked." You're right. I'm forgetting my notebook," I said as I laughed while she hit me in my shoulder.

" I'm just teasing babe," I said as I leaned over brushing my lips against her's. I slowly planted them as someone slammed their locker right next to us. It made Joanna jump. As I slipped my bag on, the bell rang.

" I'll see you later beautiful," I said as I kissed her forehead. I jogged to my first and second class. Math and Science. Running in, I slid into my seat making a loud bang." Sorry," I said. I opened up my bag, grabbing my stuff.

" Morning class, today we have new student. Please introduce yourself sweetie," Ms. Dulce said. I was still searching through my stuff." Hi, I just transferred here yesterday. My name is Gia Valentines." my heart stopped. I look up seeing Gia.

Oh Bagels...

" Gia, you can take that empty seat by... Hudson. Hudson please raise your hand," why me? I slowly raised my hand seeing Gia smirk at me.

This was going to be a long day...
