Joanna's POV

Feeling the cold fingers slid against my arm, the goosebumps rose on my skin." God you make it hard for me to breathe." I slowly turn to face her but we were soon interrupted by my friends knocking on the car window." You guys are going to be disqualified!!!" Ashely yelled. I gave Mattie one last glance letting her know I love her. Tonight was one of Ashley's special parties... Salsa Night. Where she brings all kinds of people to be in a salsa battle.

They made us volunteer... Not too happy about it but it'll be fun. Matt is a pro and she gets all sexy when she dances I just melt inside. We started walking out to the house when Mattie walked towards a familiar car." Looks like Harmony's." I don't think she would be here, she seems more like a club kinda girl. As soon as we walked in we were separated. I hope its not to long.

Mattie's POV

"15 minutes to go gents! Don't forget your masks and your numbers!" This reminded me of the scene from Step up 3. Oh well I'll just go along with it but we were #2. I looked around realizing I look like the rest of the guys here. I dyed my hair back to dark brown. I fixed my tie and the rest of my suit." Five minutes to go, walk down to the floor." I stood in the line as we proceeded to walk out. Cheers and screams filled the room. The ladies were already on the dance floor and I quickly spotted my lady. Damn she was breath taking.

Soon Ashley spoke in a mic." Hello sexy ladies and men, welcome the Salsa Night. The first two rounds will begin with you and your partner, then we will eliminate some of the dancers. In during each two rounds, the men will be up for grabs. The winning couple will receive $500 to any entertainment centers you like. So with that said, let the night begin!!!!" I stood in front of Joanna smiling like a fool.

" Woah my girl Georgia is gonna kill it!!!" I turn to see Harmony here. The music started and instincts took over. I slowly walked to Joanna, extending my hand smoothly to her. Remembering how we practice, I took the lead. Moving together while twirling her then lifting her close to me making the girls scream."Wow Mattie and Joanna looking hot out there." Ashley announced making all the girls scream for me. Harmony soon bore her her eyes into mine when I caught her gaze.

I turn back to Joanna using the beat to control our bodies. When I saw the rest of the competition, there was only two other couple who were good and the rest didn't seem to know what they were doing." Round two almost finish, finish hard!!" I felt myself grab Joanna to do another lift and yet she perfectly did it." Okay now we will have to eliminate 3 couples from the 6. Couples #1 & #3 & #5 you are eliminated." The couples left pissed and crying. I felt a little bad but I want that $500. Imagine how many dates we can go on.

" Do any ladies want to switch? If you are chosen, you have to switch." Ashley said sarcastically. A girl from #4 raised her hand." Who would you like to switch with?" I felt confident I was going to stay with Joanna but they called my number. Joanna gave me a scary look. Oh no I was in trouble." Number two you have to switch now." I gripped Joanna's hand who slowly let go from my grasp. The girl stood in front of me smirking. I didn't like her vibe, its strange. The music started once again only to feel her grab my hand. I started move to the music but she took the lead. I couldn't free my hand but I manage to swing her out to meet her grasp again. I looked behind me to find Joanna who seemed to struggle with the guy. I felt a hand grasp the back of my head to make me face her. Our faces extremely close still dancing." Our new couple #2 is burning flames making our crowd scream!!!" I hated whoever this was. This a little too touchy for salsa dancing.

After being pulled here and there, the elimination came." Sorry couple #6 we have to eliminate you. Ladies would you like to switch?" Joanna raised her hand looking at me. The girl pulled me close to her."I'll see you around babe..." While she let go, Joanna embraced me. "Couple #2 reunited but can they beat couple #4?!?!? Let the final begin!!!" I turned to Joanna." Are you ready for the big lift?" She nodded in response. We began to move together pulling a few big moves. I lifted her on my shoulder while she leaned back as I twirled around slowly. I gently put her down spinning her back into my arms. She pulled away taking a few steps back. I had my arms ready to lift. The other couple seemed to be trying harder but looked awkward. Joanna ran towards me where I lifted her above me. The crowd started to burst with cheers. I felt amazing in the moment here with Joanna.

I let her down with her body against mine. I leaned in to give her a kiss which set off my heart into a rush. I tried to pull away yet Joanna pulled me in closer. I could just melt in her arms right here and now.

"Seems like we have to decide our winner now, judges and the crowd will determine their fate." Silence entered the room." Let's hear it for... Couple #2!!!" The crowd burst into applause, screams, and cheers. I couldn't even hear myself think." Let's hear for couple #4!!" The crowd let out a small explosion of cheers." Judges?" Ash asked giving the mic." We will go with Couple..." The crowd was screaming they wanted to know." Couple #2!!!" The man announced sending me and Joanna into bliss." We won babe!!" I pulled her into a rough kiss. I didn't want to let go.
