Joanna's POV

After winning, Ashley insisted we stay to celebrate so we are going to leave as soon as we can. I want to cuddle tonight... I was currently pouring drinks for us when a hand tapped on my back. I turned to see a drunk Harmony." Congrats Sis, you were pretty amazing." She said slurring her words." Thanks Harm. Your friend must've been great too." I said trying to leave." Yeah she's the one who switched with you. She was amazing..." She said zoning out. I said a quick bye and searched for Mattie.

Mattie's POV

I was being told congrats and compliments until a smooth hand pulled me to the balcony. I couldn't recognize who it was at first. She turned to face me yet I still couldn't recognize her. She slithered her way to me with her hands lingering on my back. I tried to walk away yet she grasped my shirt. I yanked my shirt pissed off only to hear sobs." You don't realize who I am... No one does. After all I am a nobody..." She said as she continued to cry. Maybe she's drunk and is mistaking me for someone else.

I did feel pain inside from her words because I know that feeling. A part of my life where I was alone and unhappy." Are you okay? Do you need a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to?" I said because I would have loved if I had someone to talk to during a rough time. I grabbed a chair and sat next to her. She immediately clung on to me. I mean I get I'm kinda of use to talking to people who needed a shoulder. Especially one of Harmony's friends who's only a year older than me. I wonder what happened to her.

I fixed myself to get comfortable." Since I was a little girl, I was like a ghost. I was never notice until in my second year of middle school. A girl, someone so kind and fun chose to talk to me. My first friend. She always would hang out with me and I always be around her. But it changed one day." She paused before smiling and snuggling closer. I might be in danger when Joanna come back if she sees me and gets the wrong idea. I gave my handkerchief to the girl while pulling my phone to text Jojo 'I'll be back I went to go get something'.

" I'm sorry please continue." I apologized."Until I met yo-, until I met her sister. I was a junior and I came to her house to help do a project. I went into her room with her to start but all of the sudden the door slammed open. An angel of some kind. It was the first time I had been in love... We were introduced to each other and we became friends. I was going to tell her one night but she was extremely sad... She told me that the one she loves....She can't ever give up on her. She would never feel the same way for anyone else. I felt myself melt and my heart has been numb ever since...
She's the only one who can bring it back to life." She said and it made my heart hurt.

" Since then I tried to be someone I'm not and hurt many people. I'm finally being notice because I became like all the other girls. So now I'm going to make her love me. I'm going to make you love me Mattie Hudson." I turned to her but I froze as she leaned in. I jumped up falling onto the floor." Mattie look its me, Georgia. The girl who's in love with you." I was trying to open the door but it was locked." Where are you going? Come to me Mattie." I thought I was having a bad dream but it was real. I stood in front of the door and kicked it open. I began to run downstairs and looked for Jojo.

I finally spotted her and pulled her from the crowd to leave." Finally you're back. Hey babe are you okay? You seem jumpy." I opened the door for her to get in and I got in after. I drove off rather speedy still a little frightened." Mattie are you okay? Is something going on?" I turned to her as she slid her hand on the side of my face." Something scared me. Its not that big of a deal. What about you babe, are you okay?" I asked to relax myself." I'm okay, its just you worried me." I instantly was back to normal" I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to worry you." I apologized.

" How about we wash up and cuddle tonight. Im so tired." I smiled and nodded. I need it to...

Joanna's POV

I put on a light shirt and some sweats after our shower. I crawled in bed next to Mattie as she pulled me close. She lightly kiss my forehead, caressing my hair with her hand softly. I couldn't help to squeal inside because Mattie was with me. How she always loved to take care of me. How loving she could be to me after all that we've been through. I can't wait for our future to come. Just you and me.

" Thanks babe." I looked at her confused." For what?" I asked." For saying all those nice things about me. I can't wait for our future too." She said making me giggled. I thought to loud again.

" Good Night love..."

Another update just for you. I have some bad news though. This story will end but I will make a sequel. I hope that you enjoyed this story and the new fire that is starting to burn. Love you and stay tuned for the next chapter.
