Joanna's POV

1 month & half later

" You know I love you right?" I nodded happily before she left the room. It had been a month since Mattie had top surgery. I was currently making her bed comfy for her to rest on while she was showering. Now that I think of it I don't hear the water anymore.

I walk down the hall to see the bathroom empty. I walked back only to see her cooking. I slid my hands around her bare waist loving the smooth skin. I started kissing the bare back, I could hear her laugh." Jojo I'm trying to cook for you. I swear you can't keep your hands off me." She said while chuckling.

What, I can't help myself." It feels good though. Just put the spatula down" I pulled it out of her hand and dragged her to the sofa. As soon as we sat, she pulled me into her lap. I leaned in planting my lips on her's. Her hands pulled me closer, deepening the kiss. I slowly pulled away for air but Mattie leaned forward to close the gap. I gave in...

She pulled away breathing heavily." We have to stop, you can't be late. Plus my Mom is going to be here any minute." I planted light kisses on her forehead then a quick peck. I slowly left giving her a wink while walking up stairs. Why school, why!!!

Mattie's POV

I fell back, still laying on the sofa. Why does she make me feel this way. Always craving to be with her. Sigh... I got up to check outside if my Mom was here.

Great she brought Harmony with her just so she could torture me about leaving behind clothes but they were Jojo's. I opened the door seeing how they were planning to steal my flowers again." Hey goofball, you look messy like always." Harmony said earning a look from my Mom." Nice to see you too Harm, Good morning Mom." Her face lightened up with a smile." Hi Honey, you look great." She said as she kissed my cheek.

" Is Joanna here still?" Harmony asked knowing she could steal more clothes." No she left awhile ago." I smirked. This is gonna be good." Oh too bad, hey can I go to the bathroom? Upstairs?" I nodded with a devilish smile plaster on my face. Harmony ran upstairs.

" Too bad, I brought her my famous muffins." My mom said sadly."She's still here, I just lied to Harmony." I laughed." Ahhhhhhh!!" A scream coming upstairs." Watch Mom, listen closely." We put our ears close to the wall." Why do you have my clothes in your hands?" Joanna's muffled voice could be heard." I was picking them up from the floor." Me and my mom were laughing so hard." I told you she was stealing clothes." I whispered to mom.

Harmony came down stairs with Joanna who looked mad." Morning Mom, oh I see that you brought my favorite muffins." Jojo said taking a muffin from the basket." Let me walk you out babe." I said taking Jojo's hand in mine, walking out the house. My mom squealing behind us and telling she needs a boyfriend. As Joanna got in the car, I took her face in my hands crashing our lips together. She jumped on me, leaning in deepening the kiss. She pulled away while letting go, still close to me.

" Be careful, I wouldn't want anyone to take you from me." I whispered while smiling." I promise, I'm not going anywhere..." She said against my lips before planting hers on mine.

Joanna's POV

I walked down the hall in peace before bumping into some lady." I'm so sorry." I said. She was mumbling and I couldn't understand but I swear I heard her say " So she likes the clumsy ones". " Its okay, I wasn't paying attention." Once I stood up and looked at her, she had looked familiar. " Um excuse do you know where AP French is? I'm here as trainee.I'm Georgia by the way." She extended her hand out and I shook it.

" I actually have that class this period. Oh and I'm Joanna Williams." I introduced myself as we walked to the Language building. I couldn't stop thinking but I swear I've seen her somewhere...

After French, I had lunch with the girls and I noticed Georgia was glaring at me the whole time from the staff table. Gia saw and wanted to teach her a 'lesson' but Ashley seem to calm Gia with her touch. How loving they could be but fighting the next. I laid my head on the wood table wishing Mattie was here. I was falling asleep until a bunch of girls went swarming outside. They all came back inside when whatever they were swarming came in.

A pair of hands began to rub my back soothingly until one of them place a container of food in front of me. Mmmm my favorite, Caesar salad with almonds. I turned to look at the gray eyes I fell in love with. She pulled me closer carefully  not to hurt her chest.

I felt like the sun came to hug me and now I was going to enjoy my salad. A pair of lips met my forehead, placing loving light kisses. The sounds from around us became still as I only was enjoying Mattie's warmth."After let's walk in the field. Just me and you..." She whispered warmly into my right ear. Suddenly we were interrupted and everything became nosy again. I looked up to see Georgia in front of us. Mattie did not look to happy but as she turned to me, her face softened.

" Do you mind if I sit here? It's quite loud over at the time next  to mine." She asked smirking which seemed weird to me." Sure we were just leaving." Mattie said seriously which I knew it was time to go. We quickly got up and walk out to the field. As soon as we entered through the gates, Mattie intertwined our fingers. Pulling me under the cherry blossom tree. She stood in front of me, stepping closer. Laying her forehead against mine, caressing my palms with the tips of her fingers.

I honestly loved the way my soul gets all warm with Mattie. I won't ever want to let you go. I want to feel your presence around me and your glistening eyes looking into mine only to get lost with you.

Mattie Hudson, let's get old together in this life and the next one...
