Everyone stood round the child inspecting the bite, The woman didn't seem surprised by the bite; just sad. Joe looked the most sad, he nearly shot them but luckily he didn't if he did I don't think he'd be able to live with himself. there looked like there was no way out, he was going to die and there was no way out of it.

"How long has he got?" the woman asked "I don't want his final moments to be now"

"It's hard to tell" Zoe responded "But it's not long, if I was you I would start saying goodbye now so we can put him down easily"

"What do you mean put him down?" The woman screeched while tears flooded down her face "He's not like some kind of fucking dog"

We all felt her pain, nobody wants to see their child die and to be fair if it was Jason I would be doing whatever would keep him alive for the longest. There was a long pause, the kid couldn't stay in the house just in case he turned but who would finish him? I know most of us here wouldn't even think about it.

"I'll do it" Phil say quietly "I can see nobody else want's to do it and in my opinion we can't waste all of out supplies on somebody who we know if going to die"

The woman doesn't respond, just stares at Phil like he just told her that he's going to kill everything she loves. She didn't even look at Phil when she picked up the boy and ran out the door right into the road where my and Zoe first found this place. The silence didn't end, everyone sat there quietly waiting for a comment or something to make us feel better.

None of us had the guts to go out and try and find her, it was not only too dangerous but at the same time we didn't have the time to hunt for the impossible. Zoe and Lily started to cry but we couldn't help that.

A few hours had passed from that moment and it looked like some of us were going into the town in Andre's old car. As he pulled it out of the garage we all hopped in (Me, Joe and mark) and drove off onto the same road that the woman ran onto. The SUV made it about 10 minutes before we were stopped in the road by something that brought a tear to my eye.

The woman was led in the road with half her insides taken from her body and her head half gone, Her son the one who was bitten was stood there looking into the sky. He was gone, dead, one of the things we try our hardest to keep away from the farm. Everyone stayed into car but me, I climbed out and pulled the gun out of my pocket.

I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger. The boy was dead.
