We were trapped. Stuck in the small shop with no escape. We had been in there for about 2 hours, nobody knew where Andre had disappeared to and we couldn't wait much longer. The only good thing was that we had time to pack everything up so we can get it back to the farm easier but it still was no use if they get to us.
Mark was at the front of the shop keeping an eye out through the big windows where most of the undead were lurking, I was in the back keeping the back door locked because it kept coming loose because of all the weight of the undead crowding it outside. Joe was sat on the floor going through boxes just in case we missed anything worth picking up even though he had been through it before and was probably only doing it to pass the time.
Suddenly out of nowhere a light flashed from the front of the shop, but where it really came from was out down the street where a car started to flash it's light at us. It was Andre, finally he had come but for some reason he didn't stop on his way down. The car was going as fast as it could right towards the shop and I didn't know what was going to happen. I shouted at Mark to get back here just before the car came right up to the shop.
Instead of stopping outside and taking out a few of the undead out before signaling us to come help, Andre had a better idea. The car was coming as fast as it could and smashed into the front of the shop making a hole for us to get out of. Andre jumped out the car and shot a few of the undead before coming in to see us.
"You guys alright?" Andre asks as he hands me my gun and a few other weapons to the others.
"Why the fuck did you do that?" I shout "Now we've got loads of them coming in after us"
I got my gun and shot a few who were getting a bit too close before looking back at Andre as if to say 'What the fuck?'
"We'll you guys were stuck in here and it looked like the only way to get you out"
"We weren't stuck you idiot, we just needed all of the undead outside taken out before we could leave" Joe explained
We had no time to talk, more of them were emerging because of all the gunshots but I didn't have enough bullets to take them all out and even if I did it probably wouldn't be worth it. I decided to take the closet ones out so we could make it to Andres (Slightly wrecked) car and get the fuck out of here and back to the farm.
When we finally made it back I was greeted by a hug from Zoe and Jason followed by multiple questions of why we took so long, I told her about the store but I wouldn't dare tell her about the boy, I was too scared and even I couldn't explain why I did it.
I couldn't sleep that night, every time I shut my eyes all I saw was him, stood in front of me as I pulled the trigger and let him fall to the ground. None of the others spoke of it, I had hoped they forgot but I could see in their eyes that they knew and they too couldn't describe what reasons I had to kill him with.
