The path ahead of me was long, it could take me hours or days but I was ready. I stood looking towards a road full of the undead and gore from what ever they had been living off for all this time. My head blurred, suddenly it felt like nobody was there and all I could think of was hat had happened to the world? What happened when the apocalypse first started which made us not able to take back our planet?

All I could really remember was the beginning, the military was trying to get people to go to shelters and out of the city. As time went on we started to want to help, their numbers became short and as soon as we knew that not many were left everyone started to put in and try to make it normal again. I was out smuggling supplies from a drug store not far from where our base camp was with some people one time, when we got back all our supplies had been taken by some raiders and most people had died with only few left including Zoe and Jason.

I suggested that we should get them back, it seemed logical to me but apparently not to the others so I went alone, I got to where they were staying and took our things back. When I came back they treated me like an outsider, ignored me in ways because all I did was help us out. Rumours started saying I killed them and then as soon as it got around I was kicked out. The military didn't want anything to do with me. We left and never saw them again, that's when we went to the hotel. Since then everything has changed.

I was suddenly back to reality, just ahead of me was one of the dead about to strike when I pulled out the knife carefully placed in my pocket and stuck it into it's head, it's body then fell forwards onto me making me fall to the floor with him on top of me. I tried to push him off but because I only have one arm I couldn't get him off, he was at an angle that I couldn't turn to get him off so I laid there in the middle of the road hoping for something to happen. The rest of them around me looked oblivious to knowing that I was really there, probably because I had a massive corpse on top of me and they couldn't smell me.

All I could hear them was a fain sound of a car engine, all of the dead around me suddenly turned towards it as if their life depended on it. I looked over and all that was there was a SUV coming at a high speed straight towards me...
