After for walking for what felt like hours and talking about all of our stories it finally seemed like we had nothing to talk about. I could see everyone in the distance just sat around probably waiting for me to get back or worrying about what had happened to me. I had guessed that they hadn't seen me by the way that nobody reacted as I came close to the path.
I walked behind David to try and scare him but as soon as I got close he looked back, they were all very surprised to see me and were even more happy to see new people. Everyone seemed to get on fine with an exception of Joe not really liking Daniel but that was his opinion and I think nobody would really be effected by it.
The only bad point of being back was everyone sharing stories again so I had to listen to everything that I had already heard, I didn't really mind in the end it was only a story. After everyone was done we offered to drive Will, Daniel and Laura back to their RV as it was now dark and too dangerous to get there on foot. I went in a car with Jason, Lily, Joe and Laura and the rest went in another car. On the way back I asked Laura why we didn't just go in the RV back to my group in the first place which she quickly replied that it was slightly broken and too dangerous to drive even though I had seen it running fine before I blacked out.
When we got to the RV we all stopped our cars there and decided to go to sleep, except for the fact that it was my night to keep watch which meant I was only allowed to have half a night sleep. After being woken up as early as possible the day would slowly go forwards with only a undead corpse to make it interesting.
Most of my nights keeping watch were just trying not to fall asleep and waiting for everyone to wake up hoping that none of the undead try and attack one of us. This night was no different it was cold and foggy so who knew where the next corpse would come from. Then out of nowhere Laura turned up out of the RV.
"It's 3:30 in the morning" I said as I peered at my watch "Why are you up?"
"Can't sleep" She answered "Just making sure everyone's still alive out here"
"I'm sure I'm capable of keeping everyone alive"
"Well I was just checking up" Laura said "Do you think you have enough fuel to make it back to Atlanta?"
"Why the fuck would we be going back there? It's infested"
"What about the east side? I heard that the government set up a safe haven"
"Where did you hear that? And how do you know it's still there?"
"Well we first heard it on the radio and that's where we've been traveling this whole time and even if it's empty and they're gone it's still safer than here"
"I guess" I say "Talk to Joe about it in the morning, see what he thinks"
After that not much happened, Laura stayed sat with me on the bonnet of the car for a few hours just talking about random things until she decided to try and get more sleep. I thought more about Atlanta realizing that I wouldn't have even thought about going to the east side and there could actually be a safe haven there.
But where
