Chapter 6; What's happening?!

They were seated in first class and Sówïe loved it, she sat next to Jared, Shannon and Tomo was in front of them. Flying wasn't exactly the best thing Sówïe knew but she wasn't really afraid of it either, she had kind of gotten used to it over the years. Her Photo Studio had blossomed and she had done some shoots in Jamaica, Brazil and all over the US.

But at one time on their flight to New York there was some turbulence that freaked her out, she tried not to show it, but Jared of course noticed anyway, she was looking out the window and held a tight grip on her seat. Jared looked at her and then he put his hand on hers holding it tight. Sówïe turned her head and looked at the hand on hers and then she continued to Jared's face, she met his ocean eyes that were watching her. Her cheeks became warmer, and slightly pink.

'I'm not afraid' she said determined. 'It just took me off guard' she added.

Jared still had his hand on hers and she suddenly noticed it. She fought with her feelings.

Oh god, why can't these feelings just go away?! He is my friend, so it will never happen! How am I going to handle this trip? I like having him as my friend and I don't want to lose that. So I will not let this get in the way! And that's it! A lot of thoughts came flying in Sówïe's head at that moment. Jared was watching her. I wonder what is going on inside that head of hers?! God she looks so cute when she's thinking, all thou her eyes often looks very sad when she does it. She often bites her lips in different ways and she has even once or twice made some weird sounds. He thought as he watched her.

Then Sówïe looked at him with a concerned look. He looked her in her light blue eyes.

'What is it?' He asked, seeing something was wrong.

'Nothing.' She said slightly shaking her head, not wanting to tell him, what she was struggling with in her head and heart. And then she looked down on his hand that was still on hers. Then she looked back up at him.

'Can I have my hand back now please?' She said softly and bit her lip.

'Nope, it belongs to me now.' He answered and tightened his grip. She blushed.

And then Shannon's face appeared between his and Tomo's seats.

'What are you two doing back there? Anything fun? I'm board!' He said looking at them.

'Nope nothing fun back here Shan! I'm board to' Sówïe said, but that was a lie, she loved sitting next to Jared, she could never feel board beside him. Jared finally let go of Sówïe's hand, and she felt kind of bad about it. Jared looked at his brother.

'We can switch seats if you like. You two entertain each other for awhile.' He said to Shannon. 'Yeah great.' Shannon replied and rose from his seat and Jared did the same.

Sówïe looked at Jared and smiled weakly as he swapped seats with Shannon.

He sat down and smiled a big smile at her. 'What?' she asked.

'I'm on to you, you know!' He said with a grin.

'On to what?' She asked confused.

'I know what's in your head!' he said self-confident and pointed to her head.

'Oh I doubt that!' Sówïe said in disbelief and in a half laugh.

'I know you like him, more than just as a friend' he whispered to her. She lost the smile she had on her face.

'No I don't! No. You're wrong!' She said or well lied, while she was looking at him.

He just shook his head and smiled at her.
