Chapter 23; sleeping in the wrong bed?!

Hey guy's sorry for taking so long to put this out here...'but life has gotten in the way' :) This is a real short chapter but I didn't want to wait any longer to give something to you all! :)

Sówïe looked at Jared’s choked/sad face and it made her feel like a jerk and also sad.

‘I’m sorry’ she said and lowered her head.

‘Don’t be sorry for how you feel! And you shouldn’t come back, that’s just selfish of me. You should also follow your dreams just as we’re doing, I shouldn’t be the one standing in your way for that.’ He said and started walking away towards his room. Sówïe just stood there thinking ‘You are my dreams’ but she couldn’t say it out loud, nothing came out when she opened her mouth. And then Jared reached his door, he unlocked and opened it, then he cast a look over at Sówïe who stood there with her mouth opened and then he entered his room and closed the door behind him. Sówïe stood there not sure what to do and then she remembered Shannon, she hurt his feelings. She walked over to his door and knocked on it, but nothing happened. She looked at her watch it showed 1.45am, she knew he would still be awake so she knocked again.

‘Shannon please let me in.’ She said to the door and to her surprise it opened. She walked in and closed the door behind her. She stayed by it and looked down at the floor for a moment then she looked up and met Shannon’s eyes.

‘I’m so sorry Shannon. I could never risk losing you. I need you, I mean you’re mu Shanimal. But I don’t know what to do about Jared. At least I’ve decided to give him a chance during the bus trip to Sydney, but I don’t know what to expect, we’ll be in a bus all the time! How can he really ‘do’ anything to show me?!’ She said while looking at Shan. He just looked at her not saying a word.

‘Please Shannon say something!’ She said and tears filled her eyes. He still didn’t speak, he just watched her, then she blinked and tears fell and then she looked away and turned around to leave. She stopped for a moment, closed her eyes and took a deep breath, then she reached for the door handle. But then Shannon came up behind her and hugged her, he turned her around and continued to hug her. She had her ear against his chest so she could hear his heartbeat. It was slow and regular, it made her feel calm. She lifted her arms and hugged him back, tight.

‘I would never let you leave…me!’ Shannon then whispered into her ear. Sówïe looked up at him and smiled, he looked back down at her. He is 4-5 inches taller than she is.

After looking at each other for a minute or so, they sat down on the bed and talked a little. Now the clocked showed 2.30am and they had turned on the TV, Sówïe lie down and fell asleep just a moment later. Shannon looked over at her and smiled then he put a cover over her and lies down beside her. The next morning he woke up by a knock on the door. He had his arm under Sówïe’s head and the other around her. He felt a little ashamed but he liked it. He carefully freed his arms and when moving his arm that was around her he let it touch her stomach. The person knocking on the door knocked again and shouted ‘Shannon’. Shan walked over to the door and opened it a little.

‘What is it Jared?!’ He asked his brother who stood outside the door.

‘Have you seen Sówïe? She’s not answering her cellphone!’ Jared said slightly worried.

Shannon walked out and closed the door almost all the way.

‘Shh. She’s still sleeping! And no it’s not what you think! She came over to apologize and she fell asleep, I guess she didn’t want to be alone.’ Shannon said while looking at Jared.

‘Oh’ Jared said, disappointed that she chose to go to Shannon, but then he remembered their ending last night, and then he smiled he figured it was a good thing, maybe it means she won’t leave Shan and that would mean she won’t leave me.

‘Come in’ Shannon said and held the door opened for him. ‘You should be here when she wakes up!’ He added and they both walked back in, and they both sat down on the couch, and waited.
