Luna felt like something stabbed her chest after Louis said that. She has time left, but Louis made it sound like she doesn't, and she maybe she doesn't.
Louis scanned Luna's face for some type of reaction, for anything. He was enticing her, trying to get a reaction out of her, but Luna didn't know that. She thought he was just being rude.
"I'm already going to hell, sweetie," Louis said with a smirk. Luna scoffed and crossed her arms, rolling her eyes. "And you think you aren't?"
Luna thought for a second, her stomach tensing, as if she was about to vomit. She could, if she wanted too. "No, I'm not," she said confidently.
"You have thinking to do, sweetheart. Everyone has done something that will send them to hell. if they haven't yet, they will." Louis licked his lips and continued. "Life is full of hell-goers. It's about time to be one of them."
Luna gulped, staring at Louis' eyes. She noticed how innocent and blue they are. But behind that, there's a hell-talking, awful boy. It was something Luna didn't want to be dealing with. She could have walked away by now, but she hasn't. That surprised not only her, but Louis.
"You know, I've heard you before." Louis pointed at Luna and stepped sideways, eyeing her.
"Pardon?"
"Your voice. I've heard you in the hallways before, singing to yourself." He crossed his arms, giving Luna an idea that he's thinking. "Do you sing a lot?"
Luna simply nodded, thinking about her guitar and journal back home, in her room. "Do you?"
"Yeah, I do," Louis said with a small smile. A tense silence blanketed the air as Luna coughed lightly and turned to leave. "Wait, don't go yet," Louis urged.
"Why can't I just go back to my room? I should have never come down here," Luna muttered.
"Because I want to know why you really came down here." Louis stepped closer to her, realizing how he towers over her small frame.
That's something Louis has noticed. He's seen her around. Actually, he's seen her a lot but he's never said anything due to the fact that he'd come off rude. That's just how he is, actually. He speaks the truth and sometimes, a little too harshly.
To Louis, Luna was breathtakingly interesting. Her beautiful, tall body caught him off guard. By her sweet singing voice that he's heard in the hallways, she came off as a petite, young girl. Now that she's in front of him, Luna took his breath away. Her grey eyes made all of his troubles sink in the seas of happiness. It's as if she was his answers to life, all by the sight of her.
"I came down here because I heard you singing and you seemed lonely, I told you that," Luna said, eyeing Louis' stance.
"There's more to it," he said with a smirk.
"No, sir, there isn't."
Louis chuckled and nodded. "Fine, whatever you say, ma'am." With that, Louis turned around and went walking in the opposite direction, leaving Luna to stand there confused.
And it worked.

"Dad, if you have work, you shouldn't have come. You can't risk losing this job," Luna said with a grumble. "It's not like you care."
"Of course I care. Damn it, Luna. Give me some credit here!" Luna's father shouted, finally showing up after a few days of absences.
"Credit?! For what?! Showing up barely even half the time your only daughter is in the hospital?! Oh, no, I get it. I'm too crazy for you. I'm just like mother," Luna spat.
