Louis woke up to his plain room, the bags set by the door. It was the day he planned on being discharged, head home for a while, then go to University. He isn't looking as forward to it as he used to think he would. Ever since Luna, getting away from here wasn't what he wanted to do.
"Good morning, Louis," Remy cooed as Louis was standing at the front desk of the hospital, waiting for his mother to show. It's been ages, but she promised him that she'd sign the papers for him to get out of here.
"Mornin', Rem," Louis said cheerily.
Remy leaned against the desk, one of her hands holding her head up. She nodded her head to the women behind the desk, asking for some papers. "Happy to be heading home?"
Louis nodded, smiled, and then said, "Of course I am."
"Will you come back and visit?" Remy asked, a smirk tugging on her lips. Louis nodded and returned the smile. "We hope you do."
There was a silence as the secretary handed Remy the papers she asked for and a pen. Remy began signing and flipped through the papers, landing on Louis' folder. "There you are," she casually said. She signed on some line and handed his folder to the women again. "And there you go."
Louis chuckled and tapped his fingers impatiently.
"Have you talked to Luna yet?" Remy asked.
Louis shook his head. "She's probably still sleeping. I thought I'd just call later."
"You're kidding right?" Remy scoffed. "You're just going to call her after you leave?"
Louis shrugged a shoulder. "Am I suppose to say goodbye?"
Remy batted the back of Louis' head, causing Louis to duck. "Yes, you idiot."
"I'm not good with this stuff, Rem!" Louis retorted. Her rubbed the back of his head and mouthed "Ow".
"Good," Remy huffed. "Go talk to her. They'll find you when your mom comes." Remy pushed Louis off towards Luna's room, tossing him his two duffle bags as well.
Louis took in a deep breath and made his way to Luna's room without any thought. It was like second nature now, these strides to her room. As soon as he was in front of her door, he froze.
This was goodbye for god knows how long. It could be the last time they see each other for months, though he promised he'll visit. It's inevitable, though. Chances are, he'll go off to Uni, never have the chance to visit Luna until the holidays, and she'll be different.
There are other scenerios that he's sure Luna would bring up, but the thought of losing her wasn't an option to Louis.
Louis' fist wrapped three times againts the large door, waiting for Luna's tired pout to be standing in front of him. After another set of three knocks, Louis leaned towards the door, listening for any sign of her. He heard something, something that resembles the sound of gagging.
"Luna!" Louis yelled, wanting to get in. Knowing that she was behind this door, vomiting made him want to vomit, himself. He pushed the door open and turned to his right to see Luna hunched over, her head practically in the toilet.
"Luna, it's ok," Louis tried to comfort. His hand held onto Luna's short hair and rubbed her back with his other hand. "Shh, it's alright."
When Luna was finally done long enough, she turned to Louis. Her face was insanely pale and one glance into the toilet sent Louis into depths of pain; red. She's vomited blood.
"Louis, call a doctor." Luna began puking again. Louis ran towards the hallway, spinning in circles, looking for a doctor.
"Someone!" He shouted so loud. "Someone help!"
