"I'm freezing," Luna stuttered, rubbing her arms as she waits for Louis to finish getting dressed.

"You're not alone there, sweetheart," Louis laughed, wrapping Luna in his arms. "Let's go."

They walked, unsure of what to do or say. Sure it was awkward after the kiss. Things weren't going to be perfect like a movie or book. Things aren't going to fall into place perfectly. But for the time being, they can pretend it's a movie, a book.

"Talk to me, Lun." Louis gripped Luna's hand tighter. His thumb rubbed over Luna's knuckles, trying to get her attention. "Luna," he said quietly and stopped walking, pulling Luna towards him.

Luna looked up into Louis' eyes and waited for something to happen. As she expected, something did. Louis leaned down and pressed his lips to Luna's softly. It was almost like an innocent kiss, their lips barely moving.

Like said before, their moment wasn't going to be perfect. They weren't going to claim that their lips fit together like puzzle pieces, but something did feel right. Luna smiled as Lou stole another small peck from her and looked down at her.

"So?"

"So what?" Luna cocked her head.

"I'm not very good at this," Louis said with a breath. "I don't know what the next step is."

"The next step to what?" Luna asked, still confused.

Since Louis has never really had a real relationship, he always thought that after a kiss like the one they shared, something would come of it. Something he always thought he should deny. He wanted to be in the relationship that only he can read about.

He wants to kiss Luna, hug Luna, love Luna.

"Well, Us." Louis felt Luna and his hand let go of each other.

"Us?" Luna said with slight crack to her voice. "Louis, you're leaving. I-"

"I don't care if I'm leaving. I want to be whatever this can be until then and after then."

Luna sighed, looking down to the pavement. "Louis," she breathed.

"Luna," Louis said equally confused.

Luna was afraid that if something happens between them, the morning he leaves will be the morning that Luna breaks for good. If they evolve into something that she wants so bad, the day he leaves will be the day she feels lost. She felt lost when they weren't even friends and to go from together to never seeing each other, she'll feel as if the map of her life was torn to pieces right in front of her.

"I'm afraid that the morning you leave, I'll wake up completely lost," Luna says in one breath, tears threatening to spill.

"Life isn't about getting up everyday worried what's going to happen, what's going to turn out, next. It's about waking up, realizing that being alive is the greatest thing you have." Louis gripped both of Luna's hands.

Luna sighed, looked down to their hands, and back up to Louis, seeing his sincere eyes. "I'll try everything to see you."

"Louis-"

"Luna, I will. If you give me a chance, I'll prove that this is worth it." Louis tucked both of his hands under Luna's hair and ran his thumbs on her jaw bone.

"Ok," she said quietly. "Ok."

Louis grinned and kissed Luna again, leaving his lips on hers as she fisted the back of his t-shirt. After his lips left hers, he nuzzled his face into Luna's neck. They both realized how wet their clothes are still, so Luna giggled and pushed Lou away.
