I carefully pick up penny, our moody hen and lay her to the side to pick up the 3 eggs she had laid in the past 24 hours. I carefully put the eggs in to the bucket with all of the others and I put penny back in her box. I stand up to brush the chicken poo and dirt off my jeans. I walk out of the coop and lock the gate behind me. I feel the light breeze of summer on my skin as I walk out the gate towards our house. I stop to admire the veiw of our farm. I love our farm. I've been living there since forever. We have 6 pigs, 5 sheep, 2 horses, 7 cows, 23 chickens and 12 new baby chicks. Our house is two story with mums and dads room at the top. The lounge room and my bedroom is also at the top. The kitchen, bathroom and living room is at the bottom. I start heading back towards my house again and look down at my body. I am wearing a red flanalete shirt with blue jeans. By leopard printed gumboots have mud and dirt all of it. Once I reach the house my mum sees me and tells me that my pancakes are ready. I get changed into my school uniform(a daggy black and blue dress) and quickly eat my breakfast. Once I'm ready I say goodbye to mum and dad and I run up our long driveway to the bus stop. As soon as I get there I see it coming around the corner. I get on the bus and it takes me to school. I live about 30minute drive from my school but most of my friends live close to it. There is barely anybody on my bus that I know but I don't really mind because I like listening to music in my head phones. Once I get to school I see hazel and lara sitting together and talking. I walk over to them and say hi they give me a hug in return. My school is an all girls school so there are now boys allowed. So i know nothing about boys or relationships. After a while of talking about one direction and the sleepover we had on the weekend the Bell rings for class. We only have one more week of school until the end of the year. Next year I will be in year 7 and I am going to a Private school with lara and hazel. On Friday we will have a graduation and a fete to celebrate the end of primary.
