HARRY STYLES

Everything was suddenly in slow motion, the pain taking over my senses. I looked up at my own father, wondering what had gotten into him-- what had corrupted him into this monster. I had always thought that he was never like this, never like Carli's dad. But now that he's towering over me, I knew that he was just like him. I didn't know what to do, should I fight to stay alive or let everything just slip away?

Course I didn't want to leave Carli alone, but would her life be so hard without me? I knew that I had treated her horrible in the past but yet she still loved me and supported me when I didn't do the same for her. I was a hard man, emotions not really something I like to show. But at this moment I was crying, I was in so much pain and I was horrified to know that I could do nothing to save me.

I suddenly heard tires screech, my head turning to see who it was. I couldn't see anyone, since my vision was blurry.

I heard Carli scream, a few moments gun shots were heard. I groaned as my dad fell on me, digging the knife deeper into me. I sputtered blood as Carli shoved him off.

"You.... Killed... Him.." I spoke. Wow.. What my baby has been through was something I didn't think she could handle.

"Stay with me." I heard her say as everything became black.

I wish I could, princess.

CARLI

Rain hit the windshield hard as Karl pressed his foot down on the gas. We had just drove down the dark road that led to the lake house. My heart was beating fast and my hands began to get clammy. I was scared of what would happen to Harry, I need him. I love him with all my heart and soul and I needed to show him that. I breathed hard as Karl screeched on his breaks, the lights lightening up the house. I opened my mouth slightly as I soon was drenched by the rain, my heels digging into the soft muddy earth. I slipped them off and heard a scream. Harry.

I didn't wait for Karl to get out, I ran fast to the place where the scream was coming from. I stopped moving as Ron towered over Harry. Harry was losing blood, his body slowly going frail. I fumbled for my gun and grabbed it.

I held it up and breathed hard. I pulled the trigger, my face etched with horror and anger.

BAM.

BAM.

BAM.

Ron stopped what he was doing and swayed slightly. Harry groaned as Ron fell on top of him. I cried out as I ran to Harry, shoving Ron off. Harry looked up at me and then at Ron. "You.... Killed.... Him." Harry weakly spoke. I looked at Ron and blinked a couple of times. I did, didn't I? Guilt ate me up as I looked down at a pale Harry.

"Stay with me." I shakily spoke as tears fell down my cheeks. My long wet hair clung to me as I lifted Harry up slightly, his body going limp.

"No! No no no!" I sobbed as I held Harry. My jeans coated with mud, my fingertips digging into Harry's cold flesh. Karl ran up to us and helped heave Harry up. Harry remained limp, his head tilting down as his hair shined in the moonlight. I watched as a dark car drove up to the house, a familiar man stepping out of the car. It was one of Harry's gang members.

"My name is Nathan." He told me as I stood there soaked. My jacket felt heavy as I covered my mouth with my hand, the two men putting Harry into the car. "We can't take Harry to a hospital, but we know where to take him."

"Where?" I asked as i tried to get in with Harry. Karl shook his head and stopped me.

"You can't come Carli.. You can't know where we're taking him I'm sorry." Karl looked down at me, his eyes clouded.

"Please.. I need him Karl. Please." I sobbed. "Then I'll visit him after--"

"You can't do that, either." Karl quietly said. "He'll come home when he's healed. But for now.. I'm sorry." Karl shut the door that was holding Harry away from me. I sobbed hard, letting a scream escaped my mouth as I pounded on the window.

"No! Please!!" I screeched as the car started. Karl got in and shut the door, the car speeding away, leaving me alone in the pouring rain.

There I was, laying on the floor, still in my wet clothes. It had been several hours since Karl made my life crumble down. I cried so hard that now my tear ducts are dry and resisting anymore tears. A shadow made itself known on the wall, my head snapping in the direction-- hoping that it was Harry to calm me down. I slowly laid my head back down as I noticed it was only Gemma holding a mug. She walked over to me and sat the mug down.

"Come on." Gemma whispered, trying to make me get up. I finally let her, my body slowly getting up as my head pounded. Gemma helped me slip off my wet clothes, my skin blotchy from all the bruises and cuts I received tonight. I looked at the clock, batting my eyes as it said 3:15 am. I was tired beyond words but how could I sleep?

I closed my eyes as Gemma helped me into warm clothes. "Do you think you could go to sleep?" Gemma asked.
