CARLI
After we shopped for awhile, Harry insisted on going home. I didn't protest, smiling as harry took all the groceries to his car. Packing them up, he shut the trunk. He looked at me, his eyebrows raising. "What is it? Do I have something on my butt?" He joked.
I shook my head, words blabbering out of my mouth. "Why was Margeret kicked out of your building?"
Harry froze, his eyes staring into mine. "How do you know that? Who told you?"
"Tania. She can't really keep her mouth shut." I whispered, showing him the text she just sent.
"Great." Harry sighed. "Baby, it was nothing. I mean, I think it was nothing. She just told me my past was going to come haunt me and a bunch of scary crap. I honestly have no idea why she was in my office, I was rude to her though. I called her an ol' hag."
I giggled at his choice of words, pulling him closer to me. "Harry, I'm going to be your wife soon. I want you to tell me these things okay? I want you to trust and confide in me. Even if it'll hurt me."
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry, I should have told you. You know, you're glowing more than usual." Harry grins, placing his large hands on my cheeks. I blushed, looking up at him. "Maybe it's because our handsome boy is going to make an appearance soon."
"Hopefully." I replied, kissing him. Harry chuckled and kissed me back, helping me into the car after. Rain softly hit the window, the skies dark and dreary. Harry got in and frowned, wiping off his arms.
"It's seriously raining right now? Ridiculous." Harry mumbled, starting the car and putting the heat on softly. He took my left hand, clutching it tightly in his as he drove home.
I watched as Harry frantically looked through the things I put on the bed. I had packed half of them, but my pregnancy brain was forgetful. Harry smiled as he looked at me, a wink sent my way. "Everything is here, my love!"
"I'm pregnant, not stupid." I smiled. My legs were crossed under me, a jar of peanut butter in my hands. I spooned a bite, slowly sucking off the rich texture. Harry kept packing, thinking to himself. "Do you think this storm is going to get worse?" I asked, looking out the window. The rain had picked up and thunder was softly making it's appearance with the occasional burst of lightening.
"I don't know, I hope not." Harry replied. His shirt was taken off, replaced by a simple white shirt. Harry grabbed his NIKE sweatshirt and threw that over the white shirt. He looked at me and studied my movements as I kept eating the peanut butter.
"What?" I asked through a mouthful.
"You should change, you need to be more comfy." Harry noted.
"Right. Can you, uh, help me up?" I giggled. Harry nodded and walked over to me, helping me heave myself up. I gave him the jar and wobbled to my closet. Slipping into a more comfy and appropriate outfit, I walked back to Harry. "Hey! Where did my peanut butter go?"
"I put it away, princess."
"Why?" I whined. "I'm hungry!"
"Because we have to go now. I'll stop somewhere so you can fill your tummy." Harry kissed my cheek as he grabbed the bags, leaving me alone in our neat room. I followed after him, staying inside as he went out into the rain.
"Carli? Is Harry around?" I heard Tania ask. I turned to her, raising my eyebrows as I rested my hands on my back.
"Why?"
"Nothing important. I just wanted to tell you and Harry that I found my own place so I'll be moving out when you guys are in England."
"Are you? That's awesome!" Harry said as he walked back in, making his way over to me. He grabbed onto my hand and kissed it, his eyelashes tickling my skin.
"Yeah, and I have a present for you two and one for your son-- a thank you gift." Carli said, handing Harry a wrapped package and two bags to me. Harry slowly went into the living room, sitting down on his new found favorite chair. I wobbled to him, sitting down on his lap. I loved it how he didn't make any noise as I sat on his lap, I felt so fat and it made me feel better that Harry never commented on how I looked. Let's get real, I do look big. I'm about ready to pop out a baby.
"Seriously? This is so awesome! Thanks Tania." Harry said as he found out what his gift was-- a new bottle of cologne that I helped her pick out. I didn't know she was giving me presents.
"Carli helped." Tania smiled.
"Open yours, princess." I smiled and slowly took my gift out of the bag, smiling bigger as I found out what was inside. "What did you get?"
"A mommy package at a day spa! Massages, pedicure, manicure, hair cut and colored! Oh thank you!" I got up from Harry's lap, giving Tania a hug.
"Harry can watch the baby for a bit while you treat yourself to some needed relaxation." Tania smiled.
"Thank you." I gave her another hug. The last present, which had boy wrapping paper on it, was a cute little crotchet dinosaur. "Oh how darling!" I giggled. After we mingled for a few minutes, Harry insisted on getting in the car. Tania and I talked as we made our way to the waiting vehicle, getting in slowly.
"Oh, by the way Harry, I'm going to pay the bills now. I don't need your help, I want to do this by myself if you don't mind." Tania said as harry drove to the airport.
"Oh? If that's what you want, sure." Harry nodded.
"The ride is really rough." I whimpered to Harry, my nausea getting worse.
"Baby-- Baby are you--" I quickly got up and wobbled to the bathroom, shutting the door. The stupid place was small, the plane ride making me even more irritated. After I was finished heaving up my insides, I made my way back to my seat.
"Don't touch me please, I don't feel good." I breathed. Harry nodded and put a pillow behind my head, a blanket snuggling around me.
"You shouldn't have came.." Harry whispered, feeling guilty.
"I should have. Just.. Sleep with me. Please."
"I would love to. Come here baby girl." Harry said, opening his arms for me. I slowly snuggled into his side, breathing in his scent.
