HARRY STYLES

I stared at my mum, my hands going cold. This is not happening...

"Why is she back?" I asked without emotion, my mouth going dry.

"She came back for the family reunion that's coming up in two days." My mum said, sitting down in a chair. I felt as if this was her fault, like she was behind everything.

"How long have you known?"

"I didn't. I was getting the bakery ready and heard the front door bell ring. We were closed so I walked out to tell them and she was just.. standing there. Her suitcases were by her feet and she was smiling. Smiling as if--"

"Nothing happened." I finished. I took a deep breath and watched my mum look down at her hands. Her and I shared the same feelings for my sister, something that was rare. She took a deep breath and sighed. "Harry, I don't know what to do. She'll try and make a come back and I don't think it'll last."

Anger and hatred filled my soul, the mistakes and decisions of my lost sister playing in my mind. I hadn't seen her since I was 12, her decision to leave was just a blur to my boy hormones. She made my mum's life a living hell while she was living at home, nothing to her mattered. You cared for her? Awesome. She'd use you. She'd abuse your trust and then just get up and leave.

FLASHBACK

I awoke to the sound of a door slamming, a soft sob following soon after. My head was pounding from the lack of sleep, my feet slowly pressing against the hardwood floor. I got up and walked to my door, swinging it open slowly. I tried to make no noise, since I wanted to hear what was going on.

"Why would you do something like this, Gemma?" I heard my mum sob. I scowled to myself, what have you done this time? I walked out of my room and made my way down the hall, my moms sobs growing louder. I peeked into the living room and saw that my sister was standing with her arms crossed over her stomach, tears spilling down her red cheeks.

"He's the one, mum." I heard her whisper.

"The one!? You have got to be kidding me!!" My mum screamed. "You're such a fool to think he actually loves you!"

"He does!" Gemma screamed back. "He makes me feel wanted! He helps me with school work, he bought me things and he makes me happy! Why can't you just face the fact that I'm dating him? It isn't hurting anyone!"

"It is hurting people! It's hurting me and it'll especially hurt Harry when he finds out what you've done." My mum shook her head and looked away. My cue was nigh, but I couldn't move. I couldn't breath. Something was wrong and deep down I knew what it was.

"I don't care about Harry! I'm tired of him always looking up to me. I'm not an angel so he should look up to someone else."

"Oh I know you aren't an angel. Trust me." My mum hissed.

"What's going on?" I softly asked, walking into the room. It was awkward walking into this war zone. It felt as if I would get my head snapped off for saying just one word that was wrong. The tension between my mum and Gemma was thick, I could cut it with a knife.

"Harry, baby go back to sleep." My mum said defeated.

"No. Let's tell him what's going on, mum. I don't want to lie to him anymore."

"Gemma. Gemma please shut--"

"Harry." Gemma turned her back on her mum, her eyes staring into mine. I swallowed and said nothing, waiting for what she was going to tell me. "Do you know my history teacher, Mr. Armstead?"

"The young one?" I softly asked.

"He's thirty-two." I heard my mum mumble.

"Yes, that one. I.. Well.." Gemma took a deep breath. "Him and I are dating. We've hid around and I'm tired of lying."

My sister-- mind you she's 17-- is dating a man who is her teacher? What kind of sick man does that? And better yet, what desperate girl would want to date her teacher? "Why? Why are you doing something that illegal?" I whispered.

"Oh it gets better. Tell him Gemma. Tell him." My mum hissed, getting up and making her way over to me. Her hands rested on my shoulders, her light perfume making my troubled heart relax ever so slightly. I watched as my sisters eyes fell to the floor, her hands shaking as she tugged at the baggy shirt she had on. Which was probably owned by her creepy 'boyfriend'.

"Harry.. I.. I'm..." Gemma took a shaky breath, tears falling down her cheeks. "I'm pregnant."

"What?" I gaped.

"The baby is his.. So.. So him and I are moving together. I'm leaving Harry. I want to be happy and I can't here."

I watched as Gemma rushed out of the room, her hair swaying as she walked. I pushed my mums hands off of my shoulder and walked after her. "So you're leaving? Why? Open your eyes Gemma! Nothing will work out!"

"It will!" Gemma screamed as she packed up all her stuff. "You need to keep your nose out of my business, little brother."

"Fine. Sorry I cared about you." I snapped. She grabbed her suitcase and tugged it as she walked out of the room, only stopping to look at me.

"Don't try to contact me. Don't talk to me when you see me on the streets. You and mum aren't welcome in my life anymore. I'm starting a new wonderful chapter and all you care about is his stupid age. You'll never understand love, Harry."

"Thank sister. You always knew what to say." I hissed.

"I'm serious. I don't want you in my life. Act as if I'm gone. You have no older sister." Gemma said, her voice filled with anger. I watched her blankly as she ran out of the house and to a sports car that was running, parked in front of my house. The windows were tinted but I just knew it belonged to Mr. Armstead.

"Your wish is my command." I whispered sadly, watching her race away.

PRESENT TIME

"What are we going to do?" My mum asked me, pulling me out of my deep thoughts.

"You'll act like her mother, and I will act as if she doesn't exist. Because that's what she wanted."

"Have you told Carli?"

"No, I haven't.. I know I should have but I think she'll understand." I slowly said. "Does Gemma have her daughter with her?"

"Yes.."

"Great." I sighed out in annoyance, my fingers running through my hair and tugging slightly.

"She needs a place to stay and I thought she could stay with you and--"

"No! Seriously mum? Are you crazy? She is not welcome in my house at all. So she needs to find her own place to stay." I coldly said.

"Harry? Baby?" I heard a sweat voice call. I turned and saw Carli standing in the doorway. I smiled lovingly as I saw her cute little outfit, her bump showing completely.

"Come here princess, me and my mum need to tell you something." I said, getting up and straightening my jacket. She slowly wobbled over to me and kissed me, her lips turning into a big smile as she saw my mum.

"Hi."

"Hi sweetie! How are you feeling?" My mum beamed.

"Good." Carli giggled and sat down in a chair.

"Baby.. So.." I said, taking a breath.

Are my outfits showing?

Love you xoxo
