Chapter 6

Damon P.O.V

Simone couldn't have said what I thought she said. "Simone what did you say?" I asked grabbing her arm. Simone burst out crying and pulled away. "Simone answer me!" I screamed pinning her against the wall. Trap heard the commotion and came out the room. "Money chill the fuck out man!" Trap snapped grabbing me off of Simone. Simone took that as her opportunity to leave out the door. "Get the fuck off me" I said pushing Trap. "That shit ain't gone get her back Money, what the fuck going on with you? Money you been messing with that shit again too!" Trap snapped. I ignored him and ran after Simone. She was starting up her car when I got outside. "Simone wait!" I yelled. Simone stopped and put her car in park. "You bouta have my baby?" I asked looking at her stomach and for the first time noticing a tiny pudge. Simone cried harder, I got her put the car and led her back in the house. "Come home" I whispered in her ear as we walked up the stairs.

Simone P.O.V

Nana shook her head as I packed our things. "Just because you're having the mans first child doesn't mean things are gonna get better!" she snapped. I ignored her and started carrying our bags to the car. As I was coming out my mom was pulling up. Her face was puffy and red & she was crying hysterically. I threw the bags in my trunk and rushed back in the house to get the girls. "Nana April's outside" I said calling her by her first name. Nana swatted my arm hard and gave me a look of disapproval. "Don't call her by her first name that's disrespectful, she's still your mother!" Nana scolded. I rolled my eyes and went to make sure I didn't leave nothing behind. "Tell Nana bye" I said to Mahogany and Serenity. "Bye Nana, love you" Mahogany said hugging Nana's legs. "I don't wanna leave Nana" Serenity whined. "Don't you wanna see daddy?" I asked. "That ain't their damn daddy! Lil nasty whore, you got my husband killed!" Mom said charging at me. Nana stopped her right before she could do anything. I gave Serenity my keys and told her to go get in the car, lock the doors, and call Damon. "You will not disrespect my house!" Nana yelled visibly upset. "They sent Byron's head to me!" my mother cried breaking back down. "We didn't do anything! And who cares, he deserved it! Be lucky it wasn't you" I screamed back at her. She swung at me but missed and hit Nana. I lost it, forgetting I was Almost 4 months pregnant. I punched her in the face and yanked her to the ground by her hair. Nana pulled me off of her before she got up and hurt me. "Leave!" Nana yelled with tears falling freely down her cheeks. "I'm sorry Nana" I said bursting into tears at just the sight of Nana crying. "Leave Simone!" Nana yelled again. "Yeah get yo hoe ass out my mama house!" April yelled. Nana hauled off and smacked the taste out of her mouth. I ran out the house to find Damon and Trap pulling up. Damon jumped out and grabbed me. I broke down even more. "Take me home!" I whispered. Damon jumped in my car and drove us while Trap drove his car home.

Bonez sat next to me on the couch and touched my stomach. "Nephew" he said. My body was sore and I had scratches all over my face. We were waiting for my father to get back in town. I laid my head on Bonez shoulder. "You good sis?" Bonez asked. I nodded but really my mind was all over the place. Something April had said triggered something in me. I hated thinking about the girls' real father. I haven't heard from him since Mahogany was born. I know Mario still hated me for what happened back then.

Mario P.O.V

"Man I'm tryna tell you, Simone got your daughters calling my nigga Money daddy and shit!" Kortez said. I heard from my daughters or their mother in 2 years, so hearing that they calling another nigga daddy was killing me. "Who is this nigga Money!" I barked. "Houston's most ruthless, but he cool people! He been making sure yo shorty's straight!" Kortez said trying to smooth it over. "She got them calling this nigga daddy though" I repeated getting irritated. Kortez frowned, "You should be thanking my nigga! Yo kids straight because of him!" he snapped. I almost stole off on this nigga. "You saying it like I'm not around my kids by choice bitch!" I growled. I walked away before I lost all respect for this lil nigga. As I was getting in my car I saw April walking up. I hate her crack head ass but she a good customer. "What you got for me Trigg?" she asked reaching in her pocket for money. "Word on the streets is ya old mans got his ass handed to him" I said handing her a rock. "That bitch Simone had that shit set up! What you ever see in her hoe ass?" April asked handing me my money. "Watch yo mouth and keep it moving" I said shooing her away. April scowled and walked away. "Tell the bitch to watch her back or them little pretty girls of yours gone be motherless!" April spat. I rushed towards her and chocked her, "Bitch I'll kill you if ANYTHING happens to them!" I growled throwing her to the ground and walking off. Kortez looked at me and shook his head. "What the fuck is going on with her and Simone?" I asked.
