Chapter 30

Bonez P.O.V

I gazed at my little girl as she smiled and grabbed my hand. "You so perfect" I whispered. "Damn nigga quit hogging the baby, we know she yours!" Money joked. I laughed. "Leave him alone, you was the same way with Destiny and the boys" Simone said. Nothing mattered to me right now, it was just me and my baby girl. "Okay let me see my niece" Rian said reaching. I reluctantly handed her over.

Everybody left the hospital way after visiting hours. But since I was the father I got to spend the night. I watched as Riah adored Riley. We didn't talk unless it was correcting one another about how to hold Riley or what to do. She fell asleep not long after she was rocking her. I got up and grabbed Riley out her arms. I could already tell she was going to be a night owl. Riley smiled at me with those beautiful gray eyes and melted my heart. It's true, a fathers first love is always his daughter.

Tara P.O.V

I woke up to a picture of Bonez sleeping with Riley on his chest. I hit the like button an called Riah.

Me- "How you feeling boo?"

Riah- "Fine, a little tired but I'll be alright"

Me- "How's little miss Riley Reign?"

Riah- "Wonderful! I'm so in love"

Me- "Awww, I miss her already! I'll be up there with AJ in a minute"

We hung up and I shook AJ awake. He didn't budge. I got on top of him and kissed all over his face. He opened his eyes and grabbed my face. "Good morning" he said and then kissed my lips. "Let's go see the baby" I said. "Alright let me get dressed" AJ said. He got up and went in our personal bathroom. I walked down the hall and knocked on Courtney's door. Trap answered it and let me come in. "She in the bathroom untying her hair" Trap said yawning and leaving out the room. I walked in the bathroom and Courtney was playing with her naturally curly hair. "Yo hair so bomb!" I said fluffing the back. "Girl you and Riah got better hair than me" Courtney said. "Only because we both got 1 white parent" I laughed.

We walked in Riah's room with balloons and teddy bears. Riah lit up, "Hey y'all" she said sitting up in her bed. Bonez was in the corner changing Riley's diaper. "Look at my boy becoming a man" Money said coming through the door. Bonez looked up and smiled. "Yo, quit hating" Bonez joked. He had a certain glow like pushed Riley out instead of Riah.

Riah P.O.V

Bonez was so proud of Riley it was so cute. Malik came up to the hospital to visit. "How you doing today beautiful?" he asked me kissing my cheek. I smiled, "Tired" I said watching everybody else laugh and joke. Malik took his shoes off and laid in the bed with me. Courtney looked over and smiled. She walked over and I rubbed her swollen belly. "Now we just need Trayvon to bless us with his presence" I said smiling. "Yes I'm next, 5 more weeks if not earlier" she said. "Look at Trap holding her, he look so excited" I said. Courtney looked over at him and smiled. "I hope he ready for lil man" she said.

"Well we gotta get to work" Tara said. "Imma get some rest while Bonez still here" I said. "You do that, and call us when you get up" Courtney said. "We love you boo" Tara said. I blew them kisses and turned my attention back to Malik. "Imma head out too, I got a few moves to make" Malik said kissing my forehead. "Call me when you get home" I said. "Will do, and congrats bruh. She so beautiful" Malik said. "Thanks man" Bonez said.

Bonez P.O.V

I watched how Riah smiled at the dude Malik I guess she been dating. It was how she used to look at me. I was glad she was with somebody that made her happy though. Everyone left and then once again we were alone. Riah flipped through the channels and sighed. "That's your boyfriend?" I asked. "Naw, close friend" I said. "You did a good job" I said. "We did a good job" she corrected me.

Riah slept while I stayed up with Riley. She cooed and smiled. "Hey daddy baby" I said. She gave me the biggest smile. "Such a beautiful family" the nurse said coming in. Riah jumped. "How you feeling, if everything goes accordingly we'll be able to get you outta here before night fall" she said. "I'm so ready to feel my bed" Riah said. My mind kept going back to 'Such a beautiful family'.
