Chapter 12

Simone P.O.V

Money woke me up with light kisses all over my face. I smiled and pushed him away. "I'm trying to sleep" I yawned. "Somebody here to see you" Money whispered. I sat up and saw my favorite cousin Shaneka standing at my bedroom door smirking. I hoped up and ran over to her, nearly knocking her over with my stomach. "I missed you too boo" Shaneka said rubbing my stomach. "You back?" I asked hopefully. "I'm back!" Shaneka said cheesing. Shaneka is my moms twin Arthur's daughter. Growing up we both lived with Nana because our parents are just alike and didn't eat the responsibility of actually being parents! "I'm staying with Nana, me and Chase. I left Malcolm this time for good" Shaneka said crossing her arms and pouting. I knew she needed to vent, I looked at Money texting away on his phone. Probably to that Candace chick, I need to vent too. "Let me get dressed and we can go somewhere to catch up" I said hopping up. "Money can you get the girls dressed?" I asked. "They left with Mario this morning" he said never taking his eyes off the phone. I sucked my teeth. The whole purpose of us having sex was to take his mind off this Candace chick!

"Maybe I shouldn't have gone looking but I just had to!" I pouted as Shaneka and I sat at the food court at the mall. "Maybe my ass, you had the right! You put too much time and energy into this relationship for him to have you looking stupid!" Shaneka rambled. I smiled, "I missed you soo much boo!" I said digging into my food. Shaneka smiled and started eating too. "At the house did I hear Money say Trigg got the girls?" Shaneka asked. "Yes but that's another story, he just popped back up out the blue. Let me catch you up!" I said. "All we got is time boo" Shaneka said sitting back.

Jayriah P.O.V

Courtney and I decided to stay home and look through Simone's closet for something to wear to the party tonight. I never thought I'd be hanging with Courtney, but she really cool. "I always thought you were stuck up" Courtney said as we raided Simone's closet. "Why? I'm nice to everyone at school" I said laughing. Courtney shrugged, "Do you believe everything they say about me at school" she asked looking at me. I thought for a minute, "No, everyone has a story. You don't believe I actually lied on my moms husband do you?" I asked sheepishly. "Hell no! When I heard what happened I felt so bad, that's why me and Tera got into it. I popped her in the mouth cause I was tired of hearing her running her mouth about how you liked it" Courtney said. I didn't know Courtney had been taking up for me, hell she didn't even know me. And Tara my own damn cousin! Nobody knew that though cause we never claimed each other, she only claimed Simone.

"Tell me your story" I said to Courtney as we got dressed for the party. Courtney stopped putting on her make up and sat on my bed. "When I was 13 my step dad Kevin started touching me. At first it was just kisses and him squeezing the little breast I did have. But then on my 14th birthday everything changed" Courtney said taking a deep breath. "My mom got super drunk and passed out and he put my little brother to bed in his own room. I was up on the new cell phone that they'd just gave me and he came in. As usual I begged him to just leave me alone but he didn't. He told me we was gone try some new since I had become a young woman" Courtney stopped and started to tear up. "You can stop right there if you don't feel comfortable, I know how it feels" I assured her. She shook her head and continued. "He locked my room door and cut on some slow music. He took off all his clothes and made me do the same, once I was completely naked he wasted no time getting on top of me. He told me he loved me and then forced himself inside of me" Courtney said as the tears started to fall. I wrapped my arms around her and held her as she began to sob. "Why you ain't never tell me Court? I would've been handled that shit" Trap said walking into my room with rage in his eyes. "Trap right now she just need a shoulder to lean on" I said trying to calm him down. He grabbed Courtney and pulled her into him. She just cried harder.

Money P.O.V

Candace and I walked around the mall shopping for my baby girl Destiny. She had me up in a million stores. We walked past the food court when someone caught my eye. "Fuck!" I mumbled noticing it was Simone and her cousin. I grabbed Candace's hand and led her in Victoria Secret. "Find some sexy for daddy" I whispered in her ear. She smiled and began browsing. "Imma go to the bathroom" I said exiting out the store and heading to the food court. My blood began to boil as I watched Simone and her cousin laugh and joke with two young niggas.
