Chapter 17

Jayrian P.O.V

I walked out the gates of the secret federal institution and on a private jet back home. Man I miss Jayriah! I miss all of my family but, Riah is my other half. She my heart and I could feel she been hurting. I fell asleep on the flight so it took no time to get back home. As we pulled up to Simone's house my heart was beating a mile a minute. "Keep in touch" Officer Michaels said. I nodded and walked to the door. Before I could knock the door swung open and there stood my baby. I cracked a smile, "You ain't forgot about yo twin that fast have you?" I asked. Jayriah froze and then jumped in my arms, crying uncontrollably. "Shhh" I soothed her. "I knew you wasn't gone for real! I felt you" she sobbed. "What- Jayrian!" Simone screamed running and grabbing me. I held on to both of my sisters for dear life. I never wanted to ever leave them. Before I knew it Shaneka was hugging me too. Money came downstairs and paused. "Jayrian?" he asked. I smiled "In the flesh" I broke free because my chest and shoulder ached.

After I broke down what happened, leaving Kortez out the mix entirely I made my way to Maria house. I knocked on the door and heard her father say something in Spanish before snatching the door open. "Rian, Rian, Mami Jayrian!" he screamed. "Papi why yo-" Maria said cutting her sentence short. She dropped everything in her hands and ran to me. "Baby I thought you was gone" she sobbed. I kissed her tears away and led her up to her room.

Money P.O.V

Jayrian really had me thinking, he kept saying 'some of yo niggas really ain't yo niggas'. Something about that stuck out to me and made me want to reevaluate my circle. "I'll be back, I'm bouta go pick up Destiny" I said leaving out. Simone nodded and continued to do whatever she was doing on her phone. I rode to Candace house and was caught off guard by a car that I'd never seen in the driveway. I used my key to get in, the house was dark but I heard voices in her bedroom. "No, we're not like that. I love him but he has a family at home" I heard Candace say. "Man I keep telling you to give me a chance, I ain't gone do you wrong" the unknown man said. I burst in the bedroom, Candace jumped but the dude didn't flinch. "Where my daughter at?" I asked agitated. Candace pointed towards the nursery. I walked out the room and to Destiny's. My feelings was hurt but I ain't let her know it. "Money I thought you was gone call first" Candace said softly. I ignored her and grabbed the bag she had packed for Destiny. "Damon say something!" Candace demanded. "Go tend to your company Candce, I'll make sure I call before I bring her back" I said throwing the key on the dresser.

I didn't go straight home I needed to clear my mind. Candace was blowing me up. But right now I just simply wasn't feeling it. Destiny began to wake up in the back seat, making little noises. I decided to go home so I could feed her and spend time with her and the boys. When I walked in the house Simone hopped up. "Where you been? Candace been calling here like crazy" she said. I could tell she was worried. "I'm good" I said. "Let me take Destiny, Kortez and Bonez are in the den waiting for you" Simone said taking Destiny out her car seat and upstairs. I walked in the den and Kortez looked uncomfortable. "Wassup" I said sitting on the couch and grabbing my gold ps4 remote. "Shit just telling Kortez the good news" Bonez said. I nodded and turned the game on.

Jayriah P.O.V

My world was some how pulling itself back together for the first time I a long time and then I get hit with another bomb! Courtney paced around her bedroom as I stared at the positive pregnancy test. "What imma do?" I mumbled to no one in particular. "We gotta tell Simone first!" Courtney said. "I need to tell Bonez" I said. My daddy gone hall my ass back to Florida with him I thougt to myself. My phone started ringing and I answered.

Bonez- "Where you at?"

Me- "Courts, can you pick us up?"

Bonez- "Yeah I'm omw, tell Court imma drop her off at the crib with Trap"

We hung up and then me and Court got ready to leave. As we left out Courtney's room we heard Courtney's mom and Kevin arguing. "You been fucking my baby Kevin!" we heard Courtney's mom Mariah yell. Courtney's eyes got big and she froze. "You gone believe that lil bitch over me?" Kevin screamed back. *SMACK* "Watch yo fucking mouth about my child! Get yo shit and leave, as a matter-a-fact don't take nothing I bought all this shit!" Marian yelled. "Bitch fuck you, she was better than you anyway!" Kevin yelled. "You bastard!" Mariah yelled and then we heard things breaking. Kevin stormed out the room with Mariah at his heels. Kevin stormed out and Marian turned to Courtney and broke down. "Baby why you ain't never tell me? He would've been up out of here! I love you and your brothers more than life itself" Marian sobbed hugging Courtney. I stood to the side teary eyed. Why my mom didn't believe me. "I was scared, he told me you wouldn't believe me, h-how did you know?" Courtney stammered as the tears began to flow. "I noticed how you act around Kevin and I decided since you've been staying over your friends house a lot I'd read your journal" Mariah said. A horn honked outside. "I'll be home tonight, so we can talk" Courtney said pulling away. "I'm so sorry" Mariah said kissing Courtney's forehead.

When we got into the car, Bones looked at us and frowned. "Don't ask, just drive" I said. Bonez turned up the music. I leaned back in my seat closed my eyes, trying to figure out how I was going to tell him about the baby and my dad is in town. We stopped at the house Bonez and Trap shared and dropped Courtney off. I told her to call me and we headed out to eat. "I got something I need to tell you" I said when we pulled up to Olive Garden. Bonez turned the car off and looked at me. "I'm pregnant!" I blurted out. Bonez didn't look mad but he didn't look all to excited either. "Is it mines?" he asked. My heart sunk, here I was giving him my all and he had the nerves to question my loyalty. "Never mind, take me home Bryan!" I screamed as tears cascaded down my cheeks. What the he'll did I get myself into?
