Jayriah P.O.V

We all waited patiently for my father to walk through the door. Rian watched the door. We heard a knock and Money answered. My father and Jeremy walked in. My father's eyes scanned the room until they fell on Jayrian. He studied him for a moment. "This can't be real!" Jeremy said walking up and grabbing Rian. I started crying when a tear rolled down my daddy cheek. If you know Jayson then you know he don't NEVER Cry! "They can't kill a soldier pops" Roan said holding back tears. The house was silent other than Rian talking. My father wrapped his arms around Rian and whispered something in his ear. Rian's phone started ringing just as Kortez was walking in.

Kortez looked like he'd seen a ghost. Rian chuckled and an uneasy feeling washed over me. The tension in the room was visibly thick. "You couldn't kill me, I'm bullet proof baby" Rian said. We all turned to Kortez.

Mario P.O.V

"What?" Jayson asked looking back and forth between Rian and Kortez. "Ko, what the fuck you know about what happened?" I asked hopping up. "Rian, you must ain't remembering correctly. Where you been, they must've had you on some" Kortez said nervously. Money looked on in disbelief. "Nigga you shot me at clear range, you tried to take me out! Just like you tried to get Mario up Outta here with my niece in the car!" Rian spat. Simone jumped up and charged at Kortez but I beat her to the punch. I stole on Kortez, dropping him. Riah grabbed the kids and ran upstairs with Courtney. Money grabbed his gun and put it at Kortez's temple. "You couldn't have thought you was gone take over something you ain't help build" Rian said before Jeremy knocked Kortez unconscious.

Simone P.O.V

My blood was boiling, I fed this nigga and he turned around and tried to take out my family. I wanted to roll with my father to handle Kortez but he wasn't hearing that! Mario paced back and forth, "I let this nigga in my home, around my family!" Mario ranted. My father wouldn't let Mario roll, Kortez wouldn't have made it to their destination cause Mario would've killed him in the car! I got up off the couch and grabbed Mario's hand. We were alone Riah and Courtney went to Nana's house with Shaneka and the girls. Damon's mom had the boys. Mario looked at me, we were face to face. Mario kissed my lips and picked me up.

It felt like a scene from 'Love and Basketball'. Mario laid me on the couch and pulled my shirt over my head. He trailed kisses from my neck to my navel. I arched my back, I missed his touch. "Come on Courtney let's go upstairs, I guess you can come too Tara" I mumbled. "Y'all gone stop that shit! We mafuckin blood" Shaneka yelled. I rolled my eyes and went in my room. Me and Courtney sat on the bed, Tara stood by the door playing with her phone. "You can sit down, we ain't gone bite you" Courtney said laughing. Tara sat on the opposite bed and continued to play on her phone. I was tired of fighting with her, we was supposed to have each other back. "Sooo, when Bonez picked you up what he say about the whole thing?" Courtney asked. That peeked Tara's interest and she looked up. "You can come talk" I said. She got up and joined us on the bed. "So it's true? You really do mess with Bonez?" Tara asked. "Yeah, it's a long story! But I'll catch you up later. But he said he was gone be there if I decided to keep it" I said. "What the hell he mean if?" Courtney asked. "We don't believe in that" Tara added. "Right" I agreed.

After catching up Tara for bout an hour we were all talking and laughing. Man it felt good to have my cousin back! "You actually really cool!" Courtney said. "Well duh, she do got my blood running through her veins!" I said laughing. Mario's friend AJ peeked his head in my room. "Wassup lil ugly?" he asked coming in. "Court, let me holla at you" Trap said walking up and shaking up with AJ. "Where you taking my best friend?" I asked. "She'll be right back, just give me 20 minutes" Trap said smirking. I rolled my eyes and started laughing. "So who is that?" AJ asked looking at Tara. "She got a mouth nigga! But that's my cousin Tara, Tara this Mario best friend AJ" I said giving a quick introduction. AJ smiled at Tara and she blushed. "Bonez downstairs?" I asked AJ. He nodded never taking his eyes off Tara, I took that as my que and went downstairs.
