"Are you going to stay up?"

" Goodnight Madiline." Sapphire commented with a sarcastic tone as she poured some water on the fire as the light quickly died away. She heard Madiline growl then a tree branch shake as she turned her back to Sapphire then her breath slowed as she started to sleep. Sapphire sighed and looked at the stars in the sky. She sat an sighed ,I better get some rest too. She climbed in her tree and closed her eyes. Putting her arms on her waist letting her hair be her pillow and her perseverance be her blanket.

" Sapphire ,wake up." She heard someone coo loudly then heard snapping of fingers. She jumped up and pulled out her sword and saw it was day time. She looked from where the noise was coming from and didn't hear or see anything. She looked up and still saw the sky but not stars in what was supposed to be the daytime. She looked at Madiline and saw she was still sleep in the tree and she turned around towards a tree. The voice spoke again," This way, run towards me." He started knocking on trees and Sapphire didn't trust him. Is this real? Shouldn't people be scared of me? She jumped up and grabbed a tree branch and put her foot on it and was standing on the branch. Still hearing the hollow knocking on the tree as she got closer she jumped on the ground where she heard the knocking and saw nobody there. Sapphire growled then felt someone beside her. She jumped when she turned her head to find a boy with a green and blue shirt that has the colors looked like the were sprayed on him as he was standing next to her. She jumped away then saw the world moving as she knew she was dreaming.

He sighed," You know your dreaming now. I'll have to be quick, before you wake." He had a deep voice so she knew he was older.

Sapphire opened her mouth to protest but saw him put his arm up and pointed a finger at the sky as he spun it and she saw the world shift like she was racing at the speed of light when she came to a big stone wall with barbed wire on top . She knew exactly where she was as she had been there before . " Wh.."

He interrupted her," This is Portland, Oregon's Juvinile Prison. I need you to be careful." He turned his hand to the left 180 degrees and they moved to a starry ground and then he puts his arm down not looking at Sapphire. He spoke as if someone's life was on the line  but put his head down and closed his eyes. "Listen, you aren't the first rouge to live in the forest, but you would be the first person to join this part of freedom. There are many more and more that will join here in your honor. This is when you must listen. There is a blade that might sleep, but it wakes up in a different place, caught in a trap." He looks at Sapphire and she sighs as he puts his arm on her shoulder. " Be careful Sapphire. Your mission starts now. Get your freedom, or keep fighting for it." She smiles as Sapphire meets his blue eyes. He smiled back and with a nod he looked at Sapphire. She sighed and looked down knowing this was real, and she had to do it. She blinked as she looked up and he was gone and knew she had to do her mission. Looking up she saw no stars in the sky but there was light everywhere. What is the place, freedom? Is it here, where I am standing? She looked around and saw nothing but trees and a big camp that was about 10 feet wide all the way around. She saw a big fire in the middle and saw lots rabbits and mice on top of a stump. The trees had been perfect for sleeping in but no cover protection as she walked towards it but stopped and turned around to face where the boy disappeared. She sighed and spoke loud so it echoed through the forest," What is Freedom? Where is it? Why are you here if you are saying I am the first person here? What is here?"

No voice spoke but only the wind yelped in her ears," Here! .... Here! ..... Is........ Freedom! Help!?" Sapphire started to feel pain as she blinked and saw she was in a different place and it was dark again. Suddenly she felt lots of pain and her head hurt she got up and saw Madiline up in the trees scared.

" There is a dog down there." Madiline commented," Don't they hurt you ?"

Sapphire sighed as she had been in the situation before ," I'm going to try. If you can make them your 'leader' they will listen." Sapphire jumped down and she landed in front of the golden and brown husky as she growled. The husky had been at least six months old and had light yellow eyes with big claws and teeth. It had white on its belly , muzzle, tail, and paws and was huge so it would be great for fighting and hunting. Sapphire moved slow so she would not to alert the dog. She grabbed her swords and the dog growled louder, but as Sapphire pulled them out and put them on the ground near the husky the dog growled more softly. She put her hand slowly in front of the dog and stopped it almost a inch from its nose. The dog stopped growling and sniffed her hand then she stood up slowly as he looked more calm. Sapphire knew she had to make it her leader so she stood up straight and put her finger down for it to sit. It still stood up and Sapphire growled loud and stomped her foot. The husky sat down and Sapphire nodded. She put her arm to the side . She grabbed her swords and and put them in her scabbard.
