It was "Foundation Day" at school, which celebrated the history of the school and how it came into being. It was a super super long assembly, but it wasn't that boring at all, surprisingly. The only probably was the prolonged time of sitting down which hurt the knees and that part of the body. Not to mention getting restless and end up peeling of the skin of your thumb, which hurts as you type.
Wendy was unfortunately sick. Stephanie was still having a brilliant time, homework free, assignment free, test free. She was living her life, sometimes Skyping, which was really sad as we were stuck with mounds of homework and a whole week full of maths tests, drama, music dancing, PE dancing (so much dancing) and all that kind of stuff. Oh yes, and the health test. HAAHHAHHHAAhem Ahem. Back to the story.
Sophie, Emily and Lauren were exiting the hall after the tremendously long assembly.
"I feel as if I am getting crowded by super tall trees," commented Sophie as senior students rumbled through.
"That is discrimination to short people. Maybe you can discriminate Wendy for being tall?" suggested Emily.
"Good idea!" said Sophie.

It was recess, and Vivi finally stomped over.
"Where were you guys?"
"Right here," everyone replied.
"I looked everywhere for you guys!" said Vivi, throwing her bag on the concrete next to the usual wooden lunch table. "I even checked the French rooms."
"We don't ever go to the French rooms," said Lauren.
"Yeah, but I still checked..."
French whizzed by, with another song stuck in everyone's head as a way to remember the conjugations of French. (Y so hard?)
