Derek was standing in front of me and he was mouthwatering. He was wearing a white button down collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up. It clung to his body just right to show off his entire sculpted chest. My eyes slowly made their way down to his pants. They were a dark faded blue that fit just right around his lower half. I fought my eyes back up to his. They were such a beautiful light blue with specks of grey in them. I almost burst out laughing when I saw his expression. His mouth was slightly hung open and he seemed just as lost for words as I was.

"You look absolutely beautiful." He finally said and slightly blushed.

"You look very handsome yourself." I replied and blushed fiercely at his comment.

"Shall we?" He offered me his arm; I gladly accepted it and we walked to his car. It was a new 2011 white Mustang GT with light blue stripes down it. He held the door open for me and ran to the other side.

"I hope you don't mind the car. I had to borrow my brother’s. Mines in the shop." He said as he started the engine.

"Oh no this is fine. No worries at all.”

"Well the restaurant is about fifteen minutes away. We could use the time to get to know each other a little better."

"Ok sounds great." My lips turned up in a smile.

"Ok question one. When is your curfew?"

"Oh I don't have one. My parents are never home so I can stay out 'till whenever."

He frowned slightly. "Why are they always gone?"

"Always busy with work. They go out of the country for months at a time." I said as I looked out the window wondering what my real parents were doing right now. What I would do to have parents like the fake ones I made up.

He gently grabbed my hand, "Well they have no idea what they are missing out on." He replied sweetly while giving me his heart melting smile.

"So tell me about your parents." I said.

"Well my dad is a doctor and my mom is a lawyer. So they aren't around much either. I grew up with my brother, Danny. We were always there for each other when mom and dad weren't around. He is going to college right now and is married. His wife is a model so she is out of town for the week so my brother decided to stay here at my parents’ house so he won't be so lonely. He is like a poor lost puppy without her around." He said jokingly.

I laughed lightly with him. His life sounded so good. Seemed like he had no problems and a family that absolutely adored him. I can honestly say I was jealous. I had no brothers or sisters. Just the boys at The Agency. Don't get me wrong I love my guys; just it would have been nice to grow up with a brother or sister to keep each other safe and to never feel lonely. But then again, I would never wish the hell I had to deal with on anyone. In a way I was happy that it was only me in that horrible place.

"Hey we're here." Derek said quietly.

Man I must have zoned out for a while. I blushed slightly embarrassed at myself. "Oh I'm sorry I got lost in my thoughts."

"It's ok. Come on let's eat I'm starved." He smiled at me and opened my door.

I looked up at the restaurant and it was a small tucked away joint along the beach. We walked in and were greeted by an elderly lady. "Oh I see you brought a friend with you this time, love. I was wondering when you were going to get yourself a lady and bring her here to meet us and oh my is she beautiful." She said kindly while giving me a wink.
