Chapter Five: e
Song: Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift

" Hey! I'm glad you came," he exclaimed looking surprised and ecstatic to see me.

I smile shyly in return and took the seat across from him in the booth.

"Since this is a date whatever you want is on me."

"I can help pitch in if you want." I offered.

He shook his head and chuckled at my uncomfortableness,"you're so cute."

Blushing madly I drop my head down in hopes that my hair will cover my cheeks.

"Don't hide beautiful. I love looking at you."

💔

Parting the top half of my hair I tie it into a bun in the back leaving the rest of my hair to fall down my shoulders. I put on a pair of black leggings white adidas and a white knit sweater. Kyle was the type of guy that didn't like when girls go all out so I made sure o keep my outfit simple and cute.

Like how I was before you broke me.

Standing in the cafe a smile grew on my face when I saw Kyle walk in. He was looking fine as always as he made his way towards me.

"Hey! I'm so glad you came." I exclaim giving his a hug.

"I would never stand up a beautiful girl."

After seating ourselves in a secluded booth and ordering we started a little small talk.

Kyle mostly talked about school and the baseball team, but I couldn't help of think of you.

How you say in the same spot with the same order. How you carried most of the conversation with such confidence and buoyancy. I loved that about you and Kyle was only reminding me of what I used to have.

I don't want to break his heart. Because then I'd be just like you.

I just want someone to show me love and affection, but at the same time not give any myself because what I realize is that people tend to take advantage of what you give.

What I didn't realize yet was that it would never work out like that and that in the end we all end up broken hearted.
