Scene of the Review

When Jeeva (Samantha Ruth Prabhu) started feeling jumpy (I do not know how else to describe her unstable legs) and has trouble forming coherant sentences in front of Raju (Suriya), Raju tells her to compose herself and then talk to him. Falling for her charms, Raju has the same dilemma that Jeeva went through when she approached him. Using the very same words that Raju used with her, Jeeva tells him to come composed before he comes to talk to her again.

General Comments

This movie introduced me to Kollywood. My cousin came over to my house that day . Let's just say that we were bored and decided to stream movies to kill time. She suggested Anjaan, a Tamil movie.

We saw the music video for Bang Bang Bang. It was so catchy. I was literally singing along with it. You know you got it bad when you start to sing along to a song. Hey, did I just make a reference to an Usher song? What the heck! I totally did not see that coming. *laughs uncontrollably* I watched the trailer too. I was hooked.

I was stoked by the first scene. It was killer.

It was a great movie considering the fact that it was my first Tamil movie. Surya's acting did justice to the film. I was so taken aback when I found out that Krishna and Raju are the same people. I actually believed that they were two different people played by the same person! You can say that I am quite gullible. I swear I'll believe anything. I felt so bad for Raju when he found out that a member of his own group was against him all along and killed him. Yet, he came back. That is the worst kind of betrayal. Raju and Chandru's friendship was gold. They would do anything for each other. Chandru cared for his friend so much that he gifted him a car and pleaded with him to take a holiday with his girlfriend Jeeva. It was also during that holiday, Raju could not even save his friend. Yes, it was sad to see Chandru die but the story has to start somewhere right? Even if he died, their friendship was still alive. It was their friendship that helped Raju stay composed and gave him the reason to avenge Chandru's death. Samantha is so pretty. It was so cute to see a deadly don like Raju become a total softie in front of Jeeva. That just proves how love conquers all.

Song Rank (Music Composition: Yuvan Shankar Raja)

1. Bang Bang Bang

2. Oru Kan Jadaai

3. Ek Do Teen

4. Kadhal Assai

5. Sirippu En

I was literally smiling throughout the entire film. Maybe it was because Surya was in it. No, that was totally not the reason... *goes and hides in a corner*. I mostly smiled when I saw Raju and Chandru beat the crap out of everyone. They make a great team. I get really hyper when the heroes defeat the villains.

A/N

That was my review for my first Tamil movie. I have no clue as to how I did so that's why I want you guys to give me some feedback so I can improve from here on out. I feel like I blabber too much but what's a review if it was only a few words? Anyways, please comment and do leave feedback.
