Part 14

Remus, as he had told me to call him, apparated us away into a dark forest.
I had been here before, I recognized it. It was the forbidden forest. We were not anywhere near the Hogwarts grounds.
Remus had taken his potion, that would make sure that when he changed he still kept his own mind. I couldn't take it he said, because if I did and nothing would happen the potion would get me deadly ill.
The full moon was beautiful in the starry night above the silent forest.
The moon was pulling at me. Like it was screaming at me. Calling for me.
My body began to feel.. tingly. That's how it started.
My hands began to change first, I looked down at them.
My nails began to grow longer, darker and pointy.
My arms and legs began to change. The bone structure was changing. It was hurting so much, I was screaming out in pain.
Remus just stood there, unable to do anything for me, he could just watch.
I could only walk on four feet now. My head was changing too, I got a snout. Slowly I began to grow soft black fur.
The pain stopped.
This was it.
I changed.
I am a werewolf.
I freaking am a werewolf!
I looked up at Remus, he wasn't that much taller then me now. My wolf form was majestic. Enormous.
He stood there, but his face looked so in pain, it had to take only seconds before he turned to.
In the corner of my eyes I noticed a white light, the moon. That's when I completely lost it. I wasn't the teenage girl anymore. I was a majestic hunter, ready to kill. I howled at the moon. Next to me another wolf howled to, Remus.
The next thing I know I went on the run. My own vision went dark and the wolf took over, carrying us through the night.

"Hey Wolfie" I recognized the voice of Fred. I sat up and rubbed my painful had. "Had a rough night, haven't you?" He asked, giving me a look of sympathy.
"I don't remember" I muttered.
George came walking into the room, a plate filled with food in his hands. I glared at it.
"Yes, it's for you" He said rolling his eyes. He gave it to me and I started eating. So much hunger. Need to eat.
"Remus said that if you eat to much after your first time changing you would get stomach ache" Fred said, stretching out a hand to take the plate away from me. My face snapped up from the food and I growled at him, flashing my teeth.
Fred backed up quickly, raising his hands showing he would do nothing.
"Wow, calm down Wolfie"
I continued eating when I noticed the two of them stare at me. They looked confused.
"Lucy.." George began.
"Yes George?" I asked, my mouth filled with food. He narrowed his electric blue eyes.
"Since when are your eyes yellow?" He asked.
I looked at him like if he was crazy. My eyes are blue for God's sake.
"What are you talking about?" I asked confused.
Fred stood up and walked to the closet and got a small mirror out of it. He handed it to me. I looked.
I saw me.
My dyed red hair, it still wouldn't change back.
My pale skin.
My long black eyelashes.
But no blue eyes.
No, yellow. Bright yellow eyes. Shining, like the moon.
I reached with my hand for my face.
What was this all about?
Why are my eyes yellow? Why had they changed? More important, why if my whole body had changed back, my eyes hadn't?

The twins left the room so I could change. I could do almost everything again, because my shoulder and side had healed quickly when I was a wolf. Apparently a werewolf heals really fast. At least one nice thing came with all the bad stuff.
I dressed myself into a black ripped skinny jeans, bordeaux red tank top, my black vest and black short boots. I put on a bit of make up. Because I looked like I had had a really tough night, which I had.
I combed my hair, brushed my teeth and after that I left my room to go downstairs. It was a bit complicated find in the kitchen as this house is new for me, but when I found it everyone sat at the dinner table, talking and waiting for me.
Mrs Weasley stood up and rushed over to me, giving me one of her bone crushung hugs.
"So dear. It's lunch time. We let you sleep in. Come on dear, I bet you are hungry" I nodded quickly.
I sat down on the remaining spot next to Remus and across from a woman I had never seen before. She had purple hair and looked pretty.
"Hi I'm Tonks" the woman said. I smiled.
"I'm Lucy" I replied, introducing myself.
Then I was completely focussed on the food in front of me.

Summer vacation ended and it was time to go back to school. I was looking forward to it, I wanted to see Lee again. To see if he and his family were okay.

Mr and Mrs Weasley brought us to the platform. The rest we had already said our goodbyes to at Grimmauld Place. Remus told me to be really careful around full moon, because I could be a bit.. cranky. And that when I have to change I have to be as far away into the forbidden forest as possible, so I wouldn't hurt a student who is wandering around on the school grounds.
On the platform I saw a familiar face and as fast as I could I rushed over to him.
"Lee!" I yelled. I jumped onto him, entangling him in a hug. He caught me just in time and hugged me back.
"Hey princess. You okay?" He asked. I nodded. "What happened to your eyes?" He asked confused.
I smiled and shrugged my shoulders. Looking at him.
This is not the right place and time. I'll tell you later.
He nodded.
Behind me Fred and George appeared, they pulled Lee in a hug.
"Hey mate" They said in unison.
"Hey guys. Reason why you ignored my letters for over the summer?" Lee asked. They shrugged their shoulders and gave each other a look.
"You know us" They grinned. I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, we know you, dork faces" They acted hurt when I said that. I rolled my eyes again. "Now, come on. Lets go say goodbye to your Mum. Last year starting now"
Three grins. Three of my best friends.
I grinned back at them.
Not knowing this year would be so much different from last. Things are about to change. Involving someone new.. a new friend..
