Everything went black, but they weren't suppost to come yet.
Seth you guys weren't suppost to turn the power off yet. I say through our mind link.
We didn't.
Who could've turned off the lights? I look around and see Grace in her wolf sniffing the air. If my people didn't do this who did?
Seth...
Why would Seth do this?
Power....
How would he get power from this?
Who ever kills the queen will become the next ruler.
"Shit." I curse under my breath.
I run towards Grace and throw her over my sholder and run out of the castle. When I get far away from the castle I put Grace on the ground.
"Why did you bring me out here?" She asks.
"Because it's safer out here." I say.
"From what?" She asks.
"Someone who wants to kill you." I say.
"Why?" She asks.
"Why did I get stuck with a mate who asks a lot of questions." I mutter under my breath.
"You rejected me and cheated on me. Im not your mate." She says looking away from me.
I go to grab her arm but when I touch her she growls at me.
"Don't touch me." She says.
"I'm sorry for doing that I had to." I say.
"Why?" She asks with tears in her eyes.
I sigh. "Because I'm the King of Rogues." I say.
She starts to laugh.
"What's so funny?" I ask.
"The King of Rogues and The Queen of Wolves are mates. What were the fates thinking when they made us mates?" she asks laughing.
I chuckle. "Yeah, but I'm lucky." I say.
"Why?" She asks.
