Chapter 14





I pull up at my old house. Nothing has changed, the house is still white, the shutters on the windows still green, and the flowers are still red roses. I smile to my self, home.
A little boy runs out of the house he's about 2 years old.

"Mommy Gracies back!!" He shouts.

Oh my gosh, it's Nathen!! I smile and get out of the car.

"Honey she's coming tomorrow not----" She cuts herself off when she sees me.

"Mom." I say.

I run to her and hug her.

"I missed you so much!" I say.

Nathen hugs my legs and he's pulling on my shirt.
I bend down and pick him up. Nathen has black curly hair, grey eyes like our dad, and he's naturally tan like me.

"Gracie your back." He says.

I smile and nod my head yes.

"Honey who's there?" Someone asks from inside.

My dad walks out side when he sees me he stops and stares at me.

"Grace?" he asks unsure if it's me.

"Yeah?" I say.

He runs to me and hugs me.

"I've missed you so much sweetie" He says.

I put down Nathen and I look around.

"Where's Drew?" I ask.

They look down at the ground.

"What?" I ask.

"He said he doesn't need to come here." She says.

I knew he didn't want to see me but it still hurt.

"Honey do you know why he doesn't want to see you?" My dad asks.

Oh crap I forgot to tell them about Drew rejecting me.

"Can we go inside so I can tell you?" I ask.

They nodded they're heads ok and we go inside and sit down on the cream colored couches.

"You know when I changed into my wolf?" I ask them.

"Yeah?" They say.

"Well that next day he---he came over to the house and he rejected me." I say in a whisper.

When I say that my dad jumps up and he start shouting that he's going to kill this boy for rejecting me, rejecting the future queen.

"Daddy it's ok. I'm over it, I don't need to worry about that I need to worry about what's going to happen in 2 months. Me accepting the crown." I say.

He sighs and sits down.

"I'm going to bring in my bags." I say.

I walk outside and I get out my bags and bring them inside upstairs to my room.
Nothing's changed, My bed still has the same red blanket on it and the black and white zebra strip pillows.

I put up my clothes and my mom comes inside my room and sits on my bed.

"So do you have a dress for welcome home ball?" She asks.

"No." I say.

"Well then your coming with me. We're going to get you a dress." She says.

"Where is the ball at?" I ask.

"The Royal House, your home." She says.

When we get to ETC Dresses I get out of the car. I walk inside the store with my mom.


"What color should it be?" I ask.

She looks me up and down.

"Red." She says.

We start looking through the dresses and I find a beautiful red ball gown.

"Mom what about this one?" I ask.

I show her the dress and she smiles.

"That ones perfect, go try it on." She says.

I start walking over towards one of the dressing rooms when I see Liz with Stacey. The schools slut.
Why is she with her? I wonder.

"Hey you can I see that dress." Says Stacey.

"No I had it first." I say.

She walks over towards me and looks me up and down.

"I want that dress for the Royal Ball ok? So give it to me." She says.

"No." I say in my Queen voice.

I push her out of the way and I go into the dressing room and put on the dress. The dress is sleeveless and the red brings out my blue eyes. I walk out of the dressing room and I some people look at me and some gasp.

"Is that the princess?" I hear someone say.

I look over at my mom and she gives me a thumbs up. I found my dress now I'm ready for the ball.

I'm upstairs in my room and I'm curling my hair with my blue wand. After I curl my hair I put on my makeup. My makeup is just foundation, blush, and red lipstick. I go into my room and pick up my dress from the bed and out it on. The only jewelry I'm wearing is my necklace my grandma gave me. I go downstairs and grab my car keys. My parents and brother have already left. I go outside and get in my hummer and head to the Royal house.

When I pull into the drive way I gasp. The Mansion/castle is beautiful. It's made out of silver rock and it is surrounded by a ton of trees and plants. I can't believe this is MY home.
I park my car and get out. I walk to the front doors and these two guys open the doors for me.

"Welcome home, princess." They say.

I smile to them and go inside. They're two sets of stairs and I go up one and I notice that there is a line of people they're who is introducing people.

"Alpha Drew Bryce Harrison and Stacey Marie Reed." The guy says.

When he says his name I look at him and he is kissing Stacey. My heart breaks all over again. I will not cry, Not here NOT at MY ball.
When its my turn for the guy to say my name I walk up to him and tell him my name and his eyes go big.
"Hello princess." He says.

"Hi." I say back.

I stand up straighter and smile.

"Princess our future queen, Grace Elizabeth Rose Green." He says.

When he says that everyone is staring at me.

I walk down the stairs and I notice Drew staring at me. Weird?

"Welcome Princess." Says someone.

I turn around and see one of my best friends, Alpha John.

"John I missed you!" I say hugging him.

He smiles and hugs me back.

I go over and talk to some people and someone starts talking on the microphone.

"Well welcome back, princess!!" The person says.

Everyone claps.

"Would you please come up here and sing us a song we have missed you singing." HE says.

Oh gosh I love singing but I don't really want to sing in front of everyone. I sigh and get up and grab the microphone out of his hands and everyone claps.

"This song is called I knew you were trouble by Taylor Swift." I say.

After i sand that song everyone was on their feet clapping I smile and thank people for coming. I go outside to get some air. After about ten minutes someone comes outside. I turn around and see none other then Drew.
