A/N: Just a little bit of sentimental music for the wedding. It's from the series finale of The Legend of Korra. Enjoy the chapter.  :)

Liam's POV

It has been a month since everything went to hell that night in Fulmer. The house was destroyed, we lost Molly, Jack refuses to be left alone without Niall or I holding him and Maura has recurring nightmares about her kidnapping. It was hard, but...as a family, we pulled through it. The funeral for Molly was hard for Niall, because not only after the fact that we buried the beloved feline in the backyard, Jack still calls out her name expecting her to come along all jolly and unbothered. Niall could barely stand it to see his son so lost without his best friend.

But with time....we healed. Niall acknowledged that he lost a friend that day, and he didn't keep the pain to himself. He cried almost day and night until there were no more tears left, but a small feeling of missing his first cat.

Jack has a bit of trust issues with strangers now, when ever he comes along with us to the grocery store, he leers and hisses at people, thinking that they might hurt him or us. He also sleeps with us now, he refuses to let Niall or I out of his sight and screams bloody murder when we disappear for too long. But in a way, I kinda like it, better now than later to teach my son about the kinds of people there are in this world, and now that he's being all kitten-cuddly, I can't complain.

As for the house, Niall and I did do some work on it, but for the time being, we had to stay with the boys while the house undergoes fixing. Thankfully, the bullet holes didn't puncture any wires or pipes as informed to us by specialists, but the walls all needed to be replaced. The gas the gang used has seeped into the deepest craveses so we had to take off all the old drywall and put in new ones.

All in all, Niall and I worked hard to build up back our life, our home and family. The wedding is coming up, and I couldn't be more excited. As we wanted before, it is going to be a spring wedding, so we had to rush a bit to get everything done on time. Pretty soon, Niall will enter into my family as Niall James Payne, and so then our son will become a Payne too.

Not much has happened for Danielle, other than being convicted of multiple offenses and sentenced to jail for 25 years. The men that did her dirty work got a similar sentence, but were separated and sent off to different institutions.

I nearly had a heart attack when the police informed me that my sister Nicola was apart of the whole plan to get Niall and his family kidnapped. The family hasn't heard from her in days, but can I say that I do too? Not really, I have known my sister for years and I care for her deeply, but knowing that she would turn for the worse and cut out my family from the picture is heart-breaking. But not all is bad during these times, people are starting to recover and our lives are starting to look brighter.

As of now, I wait in my hotel room where the reception is going to be at with a nervous shake. A lot of people had showed up from both of our families and the place is buzzing with news of our wedding day. The room I'm in was the one Niall, Jack and I had shared the night before, but he was whisked away to get ready. I myself am ready, clean from a shower and in a posh tuxedo, and also gussied up from the hair on my head to my nails clipped and trimmed by Lou, our stylist and long time friend.

Just then, Zayn comes into the room looking all dressed up for the occasion too.

"He's almost ready, you ready to go?" He says with a little smile, and I reply with a nod and smile of my own.

When we get down to the lobby, there are paparazzi flashing away on their cameras and crying fan girls who have come to show support. We make our way to the doors with our security team making a way for us to get through, but when we get outside, we see the full extent of our fanbase cheering and screaming.
