Story 18: The Crimson Knight

after alyanna learned that There is always hope in the darkest hours,Alyanna and Angel successfully completed their missions now...It's time for the other Four to complete thier missions, Now another story will yet to begin, the story of the Crimson knight's team... The 1st team.. Miguel's Party....

Saint Ellen's city, home of the greatest Gladiator in the guild of Ezkatka, Angel's homeland before she become a servant to a god, that is where Miguel's team is heading to defeat and find more information about the lightning god that's been terrorizing it, appearing and disappearing in one place to another.

"Everyone we're almost at the city.." said miguel riding his horse. kageyama nodded and looked at the other two teammates with them, Ralph and Khimberlyn. "S-so... where is the god that's terrorizing the city??" Asked Ralph. "According to this place, the god have the ability to disappear and to reappear whenever it wants to.. so it's gonna be hard for us to find it." Said khimberlyn. "Tch, There's no hard task for me..." said miguel. Khimberlyn rolled her eyes.

when they got into the city, they've quickly rented an apartment. "I don't see why we have to rent an apartment here.." said Kageyama putting all his weapons down on the table. "We'll stay here just for tonight.. then at dawn We'll search for the god." Said miguel. Ralph then removed his armor and scarf and changed into his priest like clothes. "Then wake me up when We'll search for the god I'm going to sleep" said ralph while climbing up to the stairs towards their room.

"Huh? Where's khimberlyn by the way??" Asked kageyama. Miguel shrugged his shoulders. When ralph opened the door to their room he saw khimberlyn naked it looks that she just taken a shower. "Ah?" Ralph stood their surprised, eyes widen. Khimberlyn saw ralph then screamed. "AH! PERVERT!!" she then threw some pillows to ralph. "Ah! Hey! I'm going! Woah! Hey!" Ralph said while closing the door and running towards back to miguel and kageyama. Khimberlyn blushed a lot then locks the door.

Ralph catches his breath and sat on a chair on the kitchen. "Hey.. i thought you're going to sleep. "asked miguel. Ralph just sit there in silence. "I'm not going back there...." he said leaving miguel kinda confuse.

On that same night, they all tried to sleep but can't shake the fact that something is wrong in the city. "Hey, Miguel! Wake up!" Said Ralph. Miguel sighed and sat up. "What is it??" Said miguel. Ralph pointed outside ,miguel stood up and looked outside and saw a human figure with lightning spark on it's arms. "Could it be??" Miguel whispered. Ralph stood up and hold his scarf. "Is that the god??" Asked Ralph. Miguel opened the window and jumped outside. "Miguel! You don't have Your armor!" Ralph yelled while putting on his armor.

Miguel landed on the ground and rushes towards the humanoid god. "I can't believe a god that's actually the size on a human." Said miguel. "I'll end this quickly..." said miguel transforming his pajamas into his crimson armor. The humanoid lightning god saw miguel then blasted miguel with a lightning bolt. Miguel was surprised then he was knocked back on the ground. "Argh! Damn it.. it almost pierced my armour! " said Miguel looking to his broken crimson armor.

"Miguel?!... the Crimson Knight.. i pressume??" Said the lightning god in a deep monstrous Voice. Miguel was surprised when the god spoken. "It spoke..." said miguel in his thoughts.
"It will be an honor to fight you..." said the god pointing it's finger to miguel and some sparks of lightning appearing on it. "I don't have any plans to be defeated tonight... so maybe next time.." said miguel equipping his red sword. The god chuckled evilly then fires the lightning bolt again. Miguel dodges it. "Tsk, how did this bastard knew my Name!?" Said miguel. The god then fires another lightning bolt to miguel, The knight then shield himself with his arms but someone blocked the lightning bolt, it was Ralph Blocked the lightning bolt with his mace.

The god tilt it's head and smirked. "Who.....is this???" Said the God. Ralph stood up and smiles. "Ralph McArthur... Ezkatka's strongest Gladiator! And One of the Most smartest ones you'll ever face.. so remember that name... this might be the last time you'll meet a gladiator after this battle.. " said ralph a little serious. The god laughed then fires another lightning bolt. Miguel shoved Ralph away and shield himself with his crimson shield. "What are you doing here?!" Asked miguel. "To help you, duh..." said ralph. Miguel glared at ralph.  "Fine.. if you want to help Let's do this as a team!" Said miguel.
Ralph nodded then looked at the god.

The God's arms started to create some sparks again. "Team you say, huh??" Said the god smirked at them. Miguel grip his sword then rushes to the god. "Ah! Miguel! Wait!" Yelled ralph. Miguel swings his flaming sword to the god but it disappeared before miguel can slice it's head off. "What the?! It..... it disappeared.. " said miguel in his thought.

Ralph runs to miguel, "miguel! What happen??" He asked. "I don't know...but i think it knows me.." said miguel. Ralph looked at him. "Well whoever it is.. i think hr should be careful.. it's messing with the crimson knight" ralph said with a laugh. Miguel chuckled then head back to their Apartment.

The next day, khimberlyn crossed her arms while walking with her team. "I don't see why we need to look around the city... i mean can't we just look for the god and kill it??" Asked khimberlyn. Ralph looked at the mage. "It's his orders, he might be looking for something.." said ralph. Kageyama sighed. "And what would that be??" Asked kageyama. Ralph shrugged his shoulders and continued walking. Miguel rolled his eyes and saw something. "Huh? What is it miguel??" Asked kageyama then they saw a circular machine. "Beautiful isn't it??" Said a man walking up to them. Ralph and khimberlyn looked at the man as well as kageyama and miguel. "Beautiful you say.. but what is it??" Asked khimberlyn. "Oh it's a Prototype.. I'm trying to create a portal to another dimension.. I'm going to the place where the gods came from." Said the man. "The place where the gods came from?? D-does that place even exist?? "Asked miguel. "Oh yes, yes.. i think.." said the man. "Hmm.. I've heard that place to but that's not been proven.." said ralph. "But hang on... how did you know about that place??" Added ralph. "Oh i studied it.." said the man. "You know we've been having a conversation but we still don't know your name.." said khimberlyn. "Oh right, Where are my manners.. I am John Paul.." said the man. "Miguel...." said the crimson knight. "This is kageyama, Ralph and khim..." he added and introduce his teammates. "Uhmm.. if this portal works what will happen then??" Said ralph. "Well...isn't it obvious, I'm going in there and slay all the gods" said paul. Ralph looked at him. "That's impossible for a man like you..." said ralph. "Heheh...yeah, for a man it's impossible... "said paul. "Just....don't kill yourself... Let's go team..." said Miguel. Ralph looked at paul then walked away, kageyama and khimberlyn followed miguel and left paul there. The alchemist smiled and looked at his portal. "You should becareful.... this town is gonna be eliminated by a lightning god, so what are you gonna Do ... Miguel Canoma??" Said paul a little terrified.
