Story 45: The Witch And The Assassin Part 2

Mae an Jay started their mission yesterday and arrived at there destination, the ruins of Moonwalk City that's inhabited by Centaurs and also where the legendary daggers is at, Mae was captured by the Centaurs but Jay escaped and went to the underground lair and set off to find the legendary daggers to save Mae from the hands of the Centaurs....

On the underground lair, jay looked around the lair and hoping that he would find the daggers. "Where is it hidden?? If only Mae was here.." jay exclaimed he then walked around and realized that he is inside an underground maze. "Wait a minute... this isn't some ordinary lair.... it's a maze.." jay was surprised then he continued his journey underground. "It doesn't matter wether it is a maze or not.....i can easily blink out of here easily..i just have to picture it in my mind..." Jay thought in his mind as he took some different directions on the Maze.

Back on the surface, Mae was locked up in a Cell inside the cave of the Centaurs. "YOu do realize for eating us humans, you've all become monstrous beasts with four legs!!" Said Mae. The Centaurs glared at her and roared. "We are not beasts! We are Centaurs! " yelled a centaur that's guarding her from the outside of her cell. Mae looked around her cell then she noticed that a centaur is carrying her pink staff. "Hey! That's mine!" Yelled Mae. The centaur smirked and continued to walk pass Mae's cell. "Tsk! When i get out of here.. you're all dead!" Said Mae. The centaur that's guarding her smiled then chuckled. "Good luck!" Said the centaur. "Tch, Hurry Up You goddamn Assassin! I'M gonna kill you when you don't come back for me!" She yelled in her mind. Mae then leaned to a wall and waited for jay to comeback.

Back on the Maze, Jay lost his direction and was already tired with the long walk. "I've pass right here a while ago! Where the hell am i?!" He yelled, Jay kneeled down and clenched his fist, "goddamn it! Mae might die right up there if i don't do something here! If only I'm smart like Ardnaxela or Ralph i can figure out a way to get out of here!" Jay exclaimed angrily and punched the wall. "Ohw!" He yelled in pain then fell on the ground. "Hey! Wait a minute i just remember something... " said Jay rubbing his hand. He stood up and looked forward and flashback some memories yesterday before they left the guild.

"Hey! Jay! I just discovered something on the library! " said Louie walking towards the assassin. Jay looked at the mime with a curious look. "What is it??" He asked. Louie then smiled. "I just discovered a great trick if you're in a maze!" He said excitedly. "What is it, just tell me!" Jay yelled a little annoyed now. "You just have to follow the right wall to escape it! There i told you!" Louie smiled at him. Jay's eyes narrowed at him. "Like i care... Nobody's going to a maze here.." said Jay walking away, louie frowned. "You'll use that one day! Anyway i need to go home now...need to rest before our mission starts.." said Louie running outside the guild and to his house a few blocks away from the guild.

Jay then put his hand on the right wall so he'll be able to follow it properly. "I knew it, it was useful! Thanks louie... i sorry i doubted you..." he thought in his mind as he walk to the maze using the right wall as a guide. "Alright!" Jay yelled out.

After a few hours of walking, jay reached the end of the maze. "I never realized that it's pretty far..." said Jay panting, he then was surprised of what he saw. "I-i can't believe it..." he spoke softly. He was surprised that he finally found the legendary dagger. He walked to the daggers, the two daggers are colored gold with some kind of magical aura around it, it has chains on it's handle so the user can use it as a long range type weapon to hook it's opponents from a distance. Jay held one of the daggers and looked at it. "Wow.. Mae was right..it is legendary " said Jay, he then put down the dagger and take a look behind him. "Mae....it's been hours..i-i need to hurry!" Jay yelled as he took the two daggers from the totem that looks like a god, then he rushes towards back the maze.

Back on the surface, Mae was tied up in a pole, outside on the center of the ruins. "Centaurs! We've been waiting for a long time for this! Now it's time for us to feast on this Human! So all of you! Ready your stomachs and feed yourselves with this human flesh!" Yelled the centaur warchief. The Centaurs roared then stomp their feet once again. Mae clenched her fist and looked around. "I knew it! He ditch me! When i get out of this mess i swear I'm gonna kill that assassin!" Said Mae a little Angry.

The Centaurs was about to walked towards Mae but suddenly some smoke bomb was thrown to the Centaurs causing them to be blinded by the smoke. "Ah! He's back! The assassin! H-" the centaur was then cut off and been hooked by someone. mae looked around then she was freed by a dagger then hooked back ti the smoke. Mae looked around. "W-who... Is there??" She asked coughing.

The smoke faded revealing the Assassin, Jay wearing a dark Cloak and a Mask on the half of his face, equipping his new pair of daggers on his hands. "Sorry I'm Late mae! been through a maze and got lost" said Jay chuckling, the witch was surprised then she suddenly smiled. "Jay!" She said.

The Centaurs rushes to Jay then swings their Mace to him jay blinked on mid air and swings his chained dagger to the Centaurs causing them to fell on the ground and dropped their weapons. "Amazing! He defeated the Centaurs with one blow!" She thought in her mind. Jay smirked and threw his dagger on a centaur with hooked it towards him and punched it in the face. "Ohw! The hell their skulls are hard as a rock!" He yelled. Mae then was surprised and equipped her staff from one of the fallen centaur. "Jay! Be ready!" She yelled then she tap her staff on the ground then from it the Centaurs was all trapped in a waterbarrier. "Jay! Blinked out of here!" She yelled. Jay heard what shr said and blinked to a distance. "I hope you know what you're doing!" He yelled before blinking out of the battle. She pointed her staff to the sky and then she smirked. "See yah!" Mae whispered then her staff was struck by a lightning bolt then it bounces towards the water barriers.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Yelled the Centaurs inside the barrier. Mae then put down her staff and blew a strand of her hair off her face. "Okay, Jay you can come out now!!" She yelled out. Jay then blinked back to mae, he removed the mask of his face then smiled. "Alright, I'll admit it.. you are stronger than me." Said Jay raising his hands up a little. Mae giggled then tap his shoulders. "You're not pretty bad yourself." She said. Jay smiled then looked around the toasted Centaurs. "Guess you could've killed them with your lightning but you didn't.. " said Jay. Mae smiled. "They deserve to live so they can tell how much strong ezkatka is.." said Mae. Jay smiled a bit then held his daggers up. Mae looked at his new daggers. "So you got it.. Great job.. how did you do it anyway??" Asked Mae. Jay smiled and walked away from her. "Let's just say someone taught me a great trick..Now Let's go home... Mae" said Jay walking then he looked back to her and Smiled. Mae nodded and runs to jay. "Alrightttttt!!!" She yelled.
