Story 29: Mistakes

Ardnaxela and her team managed to survive and Defeat the armoured god with the help of adrian, the dragon god. Now they've been arrested for believing that they're the ones who is responsible for the destruction of the city, now if they prove that they're not the ones who is responsible for the destruction.... they're all gonna go home and finish the mission that's been given to them....

"Ardnaxela katoptris you've arrived at the city yesterday and then the god also came on the city destroying it... are you and your team have been working with the armoured god, Paolo Bermudo?" Asked the judge.

"Your honor... if we've been working with paolo, then why did we bring him down in the first place??" Said ardnaxela. Paolo smirked then spoke. "Didn't you told me?? That was all in the plan, right ardnaxela??" He said. "What!?! Get the hell out of here! We're not working with the likes of you!" Yelled adrian trying to escape the pole where he is tied. "Adrian..." said ardnaxela. The judge then hammered the table. "Order!" He said.

"Your honor....if i may....ardnaxela is a great leader.. she don't easily work for others..especially if that person is a god!" Said adrian. "Well according to her records.. she kidnapped a girl.." said arjay, the strongest knight in the city, "Princess... yeah that wasn't me..it's my friend who kidnapped her..and second he didn't kidnapped princess! She joined in our guild on her own free will!!" Yelled ardnaxela. "Louie is on our team as well, we're trying to bring down the whole catnes down to the ground!" Paolo yelled. Adrian was angry and tries to break free to the pole. Ardnaxela eye's widen then she glared at paolo. "Don't even try to say his name..." she said a little angry, paolo smirked and looked at adrian then to the judge. "Your honor, this place won't survived if any one of us transformed into a god right?? " asked paolo. "N-no it won't... " said the judge

"your honor, don't you see why we're here!?.. Nora our guild master, sent us on a mission to get some information about the gods..we're not here to destroy you guys.... the other Five teams must be finished with their missions and already heading back to our guild, if you don't believe me...then read this.." ardnaxela then stepped infront of the judge and hand her the paper work saying, "Ezkatka's great expedition ".

"Crap! I thought i threw that out of their inn!?!?" Paolo thought in his mind.

Arjay and the judge was surprised. "Ah! Ezkatka!?.. the guild on the land of catnes..?!" Said arjay. The judge sighed. "I see...Nora did sent you on a mission.." said the judge. Adrian smiled then looked at ardnaxela. "She's.... she's really full of surprises...no wonder nora picked her to be a leader.. " said adrian in his thoughts.

Paolo glared at ardnaxela then he started to laugh. "Heheh...hehehahaha...". The judge and arjay looked at paolo, "what's so funny??" Arjay asked. "It's funny that you guys are looking so hopeless...and helpless.." said paolo. Ardnaxela gasped a bit. "What do you mean?!" Said ardnaxela, then suddenly paolo broke the ropes that's binding him then he stabbed himself with Jay's dagger then the whole building exploded and a giant armoured god ascend and roared.

Ardnaxela was saved by adrian whose right arm turned into his god form and shielded ardnaxela. "A-adrian??" Ardnaxela looked at the knight. "He killed the judge..." said adrian looking at the judge whose been crashed by a giant boulder. Arjay shield himself with his gold shield. "The god!" Arjay shouted. Ardnaxela gasped and saw that the armoured god was trying to escape the city towards to the forest. "Adrian, we need to get him!" Said ardnaxela running behind the god. Adrian pants then looked at his right god arm. "Ardnaxela wait!" Yelled adrian. Ardnaxela stopped then looked at adrian. "What is it!?" Said ardnaxela. "Ready your bow and arrow...I'll throw you to the armoured God's chest and pierce it and get paolo!" Adrian then grabbed ardnaxela with her god arm form. "You better hurry, Adrian...ardnaxela..it's getting away!" Said arjay. "I don't have my bow and arrow! They've confiscated it!" Said ardnaxela. Arjay threw his gold sword to ardnaxela. "Use that!" Shouted arjay then the archer smiled. Adrian then smirked and runs to where the god is heading then he threw Ardnaxela to the armoured god. "Go ardnaxela!!!" He shouted.

Ardnaxela was then released to the air and was thrown like a ball to the armoured god, ardnaxela then use arjay's golden sword to pierce the God's chest, and it was successful. The archer pierethe chest and caught paolo from the inside then they've both fell on the ground. "Ah!" Exclaimed paolo. Ardnaxela slide through the ground and grips arjay's sword and points to paolo. "Ah! Okay! Okay! I give up!" Said paolo raising his hands up. "You insulted our guild, my friends, myself...but i can't forgive you..when you've said his name even when you don't have the right!" Ardnaxela glared at paolo then grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "Now...you have to spend the rest of your days on a cell..and your dream to join us is now....impossible to happen.. " she added. Paolo glared at her. "I never did wanted to join your guild!" He said then the royal guards of saint dominic arrived and handcuffed paolo. Ardnaxela then dropped arjay's sword, arjay came in walking to ardnaxela but he stopped and grabbed his sword. "Everyone! We'll take care of the armoured god! We'll bring him back to the City! " said arjay. Then paolo glared at ardnaxela walking away.

On the next day, Ardnaxela and her team packed their things, "oww! I can't believed that the whole building crashed and we're in it..." said jay while rubbing his head with a bandage around his forehead. "Also.. my daggers are gone..." said jay a little pissed off. Adrian sighed in his new green and silver armor and a sword made out of dragon skin equipped in his back. "We'll buy you a new one..." said adrian. "And besides your injured..we need to head back quickly to the guild... " said abion wearing a leather jacket and a cast on his right arm. "You're both injured.. " said ardnaxela riding his horse. The three of them rides their horse as well. "So that's it?? What kind of information we've got in the armoured god anyway??" Asked jay following ardnaxela's horse. Ardnaxela just continued riding her horse and ignores the question of jay. "We've been accused by destroying the city even though we didn't do it...... I don't want to call this mission as a success.. but we've survived it anyway... and we've gained more than enough... i think that's not A failure... we've solved the god problem here..i think that's already a success... " then ardnaxela remembered something and head out towards back the holy ground of their guild. "Hey! Where are you going!?" Yelled jay then her team followed her.

When they've arrived the devastated holy ground of the guild, she looked down. "We've destroyed the holy ground... i know what you guys are thinking.....what kind of monsters we are?.... how could we do this? But that's not important.. the important thing is we shouldn't make the same mistakes we did in this city... so We'll do anything to protect the guild...even if that kills us!" She said then looked at her team. Jay smiled and nodded. "Roger that!" He said. Abion and adrian nodded. "That's my only home so...yeah, I'll protect it with my life.." said abion then he smiled to her. "You guys are my only family.. and families protect each other.." said adrian then he smiled and head towards back the land of catnes along with his other teammates.

"Wait for us.....Everyone we're coming home..." ardnaxela thought in his mind. "We'll never regret this mistakes that we made for as long as we live..." she added
