Story 13: Protection

Miguel and the others finally left the guild set out on an expedition to find out the secrets of the gods, Their origin... Angel's team reached there destination and encountered a female Naga, Mikaela. The others patrolled the area and Camu stayed for the Naga's companion, However the ice god appeared and taken the form Of Raymart that's already battling Camu and Mikaela.

The Ice God roared and looked at Camu. Camu narrowed his eyes to the god and grips his staff tight. "I've never imagine that the ice god will come to us... usually it's the humans who hunts them... guess the tides have turned but other than that.. i need to protect Mikaela, without angel or Someone else all i can do is defend... tsk.  What should i do??" Said Camu to his mind.the ice god then fires a few icicles to camu. Camu summoned a wildfire around him so that it could melt before it can hit him. "I remember this god can only use ice magic so it will be easy to beat it if i use fire..." camu thought of it.

The ice god came in charging at camu then it's hand turn into a huge ice sword. "What the!?" Camu was surprised of it's abilities that he just Dodge the attack of that god. The ice sword was severed when it miss camu. Mikaela was terrified that she slither away from the battle. Camu noticed mikaela leaving and kept his focus to the god. "I need to keep her safe who knows what would happen if i lose her from my sight" camu's mind was flowing with problems. The ice god swings It's ice arms to camu causing him to be knocked back on the ground . "Ah!" Camu exclaimed. The god then runs towards where The naga run. Camu shook his head and quickly grabbed his staff and followed the running god. "Hey! I'm your opponent! Comeback!" Said Camu. "I said Wait!!!" He yelled and fires a huge fireball to the back of the ice god. The god roared in pain loudly.

Angel and Raymart heard the roar. "Huh?? Camu..." said Angel. Raymart looked at angel then run back towards their camp. Lorgie and magno also heard the roar "camu.... Let's head back.." lorgie looked at her bear and rides it back to their camp.

The god roared at camu then jumps towards him and punched him back to the ground. "Na.......ga...s..." the god spoke. Camu was surprised of what he have heard and fires a lightning bolt towards the god causing it to lose one of it's arm. The god roared again and grabbed camu by the neck and began to choke him. "Tsk.. d-damn.. i can't lose to a god like this!" Said camu in his mind. The god roared in front of camu's face. But then the god was hit by a laser causing him to let go of camu. Camu gasped and cough. "W-what the hell??" Camu looked to where that laser came from and saw raymart. "Angel, now!" The gunner yelled the. Suddenly the ice god was sliced in half by Angel's divine  sword. The god's torso fell on the river and the legs started to melt. Angel looked at camu then suddenly lorgie and magno reunited with them. "Where's mikaela??" Said angel. Camu shook his head. "I don't know... she was so scared that she runaway!" Said camu standing up. "Other than that..i didn't know It's easy to beat a god like that " raymart chuckled and suddenly raymart was pierced by an ice spike in his legs. "Ahhh!!" Raymart yelled in pain. Angel and the others was surprised and from the river the ice god ascended and more taller than when he fought camu. "You got to be kidding me... i-it regenerate! " said camu then he grip his staff tight. Angel looked at lorgie and magno. "You think you guys can find mikaela??" Said angel to Lorgie. "I-i'll try but what about raymart and you guys??" Said lorgie. "We'll handle this now go!" Angel yelled at her. Magno roared and runs away lorgie looked back while magno is running away. "Please guys....don't die!" Said lorgie to herself.

Camu rushes to raymart but the god uses it's hands to create an ice cage around raymart. "Shit! Help!" Said raymart trying to crawl. "Tsk! Get out of my way!" Camu then fires a bolt of lightning to the ice cage causing it to explode. Angel looked at the god and grips her divine sword tight. "Everyone, i don't have any plans on dying today so please don't make my job on being a leader more harder!" Said angel in her mind. Camu carried raymart and got outside the ice cage. "Angel! I got him!" Yelled camu ,the ice god noticed the mage and the gunner and breathes ice towards their direction. "Camu watch out!!" Angel then uses her sword and fires a divine magic to camu and raymart the divine magic hit them as well as the ice breath causing then to be freeze inside an iceberg, angel's eyes widen then looked at the iceberg.  The god looked at angel and smirked. "I-i failed to protect them..." said angel, the gladiator looked down then to the god a little angry. "It's your fault..." she whispered to herself then she grip her sword tightly and rush towards the god. The god hammered the ground with it's hand but angel dodges it and sliced the God's hand. "Take this!" Said angel, but the god use it's other hand to punch angel back on the ground. "Ahh!" She exclaimed when she hit the ground. "......I'm losing??....h-how's this possible.... i-i'm an angel... I'm almost powerful as a god.. back then.., Camu, Raymart...Lorgie, Magno.. i failed you all..." angel's eyes are slowly closing in and then god crawled the way over to angel. "My body..... it stopped moving... i failed the guild... " she added. The god roared loudly when it's about to hammer angel with it's fist.

Inside the iceberg, Camu caught the divine magic and raymart was unconscious. "Damn it! I can't use angel's magic! And i need to protect Raymart! Angel might die because of me! Tsk...i hate this feeling, i-i hate those goddamn Gods! I need to kill them... no, I need to Destroy every last ONE OF THEM!!!!!!" Camu's eyes began to glow red and the iceberg begand to glow as well.

Angel noticed the light then looked at the iceberg. "Camu..." angel whispered then when the god was about to hammer angel, a blast of red lightning struck the God's fist then was knocked back on the water it touch the water then it began to regenerate It's hands back. Angel noticed it then noticed camu was alive as well as Raymart. "Angel... take raymart with you and find an exit route here... regroup with lorgie and Magno and if they got lucky... then take Mikaela with you.. take my advice and don't give up easily...you're the leader here so do your best on being one " said camu in his Ultimate form. Camu's hair turned into fire and it's staff was sparkling with lightning and flames around it. "He's alive...and What am i thinking earlier... I'm so sorry camu, You're right...I'm the leader so I'll start acting like one.." angel's eyes became teary then she rushes to raymart and carried him. "Goodluck camu.. " said angel then she runs away from camu and the god.

Camu's eyes turns red and grip his staff tightly. "I'm gonna rip those secrets out of you.." said camu to the god. The god roared at camu then it made some ice spikes appeared on it's back. Camu and the god rushes to each other and was about to have a fight. "Aaahhhh!!!" The mage grips his staff and yelled.

Meanwhile, Magno and Lorgie is finding the last Naga on the city. "Mikaela!!" Yelled lorgie, then her bear magno started to smell something the bear followed the scent. "Hey....you found something?? " lorgie asked her bear, the bear growled then looked at the terrified naga on an alley. "Huh?? Mikaela!" Lorgie yelled and rushes towards the naga. Mikaela looked at the tamer. "Lorgie.... i-i don't know what to do...i was terrified at the god... i didn't mean to leave camu there.." she said. Lorgie smiled and touched her cheeks. "Don't worry about it... we understand.. Fear can make us weak sometimes.. but it's also the key to bravery.. Camu was scared that he lost you.. so next time don't leave him alone like that " said lorgie. Mikaela gasped and blushed a bit. "H-he was sc-scared??..." mikaela whispered. Lorgie nodded and smiled. Just when they're about to stand the god appeared behind them and was set in flames. "T-the god??" Lorgie whispered while hugging the naga they've both looked at the sky and saw camu was about to fire a lightning bolt to the god. "Wh-wha- he looks different.." said lorgie. Camu then fires a massive red lightning bolt to the god and it was blown up into pieces. Magno came in and shielded lorgie and mikaela from the shards of ice. Half of the God's body was in the water and it regenerate once again as quickly as possible, the god roared. Camu gasped then landed on a building. "Damn...it keeps regenerating! Even in this form i can't beat it!" Said camu looking at the god that's the size on the building now, Camu's fire became more larger and brighter. "Tsk...I'll find a way to beat you! Even if it kills me!!!" Camu yelled out to the god. Lorgie and mikaela overheard what camu have just said. "Camu...." mikaela whispered.

Angel and Raymart was on the gate of the city where the broken bridge is. Angel looked at raymart. "Heheh... guess we can't leave without them..." said raymart. Angel looked at raymart. "They're still out there... Camu said that we sh-" angel was cut off. "Camu is not the leader, you are...so you're just gonna leave them here?? WHat kind of leader is that?? Just because camu said to leave him that doesn't mean you are going to leave him, right?? " Said Raymart. Angel looked at the bridge then back to the city. "They'll regroup with us I'm sure... i know that camu won't lose to that god.." angel smiles then clenched her fist. Raymart looked at angel seriously. "You're afraid...." said raymart. "A-afraid??" Angel looked at raymart. "Afraid to face a god once again... the god that once you served is dead, there is no reason to be afraid... If you're not gonna help Camu or Lorgie then do me a favour, Heal me.." said raymart holding his leg in pain. Angel looked at raymart then she looked away. "Afraid...." angel's mind was flowing. "I'm... Not afraid... " she added.

Camu glared at the God and grip his staff tightly. "Come on!! I'm standing right here!!" The mage's staff began to have some sparks of red electricity on it, the god roared at camu and Camu came in rushing towards it again.

"Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!"
