Story 22: A Shadow In The Darkness

Miguel successfully defeated the lightning god that turns out to be a human, named Paul. Also they successfully saved the city of saint Ellen from the devastating Destruction that's about to be unleashed in the portal created by the lightning god, Now a new story is about to begin, the story of the Witch....Mae Auistha..

"Oh Yeah! Finally we're here!" Yelled Marc while walking towards the gate of City Of moonwalk. "Can't you just shut up?? Thank you.." said Mae. "Aw come on, you know you should smile sometimes you know that?? " said marc. Mae rolled her eyes and continued walking. "Heh... ignoring me again.." said marc, "everyone is ignoring you, idiot.." said jad walking beside marc. "Huh?" Marc blinked then looked at him. Pia and vhea sighed. "Why do these two are on our team anyway??" Said Pia. "i Don't know, and i don't wanna know.." said Vhea.

Mae looked at her map to the city and looked to an inn. "Maybe we should rest for a while, don't you agree guys??" Said Mae to her team. Jad and marc sighed and nodded. Pia and vhea looked at the inn. "Hmm shouldn't we scout the outskirts of town to find the shadow god??" Asked Vhea. "I agree with her.." said Pia. Mae sighed and put away her map. "Maybe you're right... Hey Marc, Jad we're leav-" mae was surprised that the two already talking to the owner of the inn.

"Hey mister, do you have any free rooms??" Asked marc. "Two or one is fine.." said jad smiling. "Yeah we can share bed with the girls if they want.." said marc smiling and imagining some perverted stuffs. "hell YEah!" Jad said then the two Guys laughed. The owner looked at the two of them a little confuse. Then suddenly mae hit the gunner and the swords-master in the head with her staff. "PERVERTS!!" she yelled after hitting the two guys with her staff. "Ohw!" Yelled the both of them "we're sorry!!" They've both added.

Pia and vhea looked at the scene and facepalmed. "We're doom..." said vhea. "We should've gone with Ray's team..." said pia.

On the way to the outskirts of town, jad and Marc already have a blackeye on their faces. "i was expecting that well share beds with them.." marc whispered. "Shut up!" Jad yelled out. Mae sighed and continued walking. Pia looked around and saw that the sun is already setting. "I'm regretting this idea already.." said pia. Mae stopped and looked at the forest of the town. "Before we go... I'm asking you guys again.. should we go?? Or head back??" Asked Mae looking at the forest. "That's up to you..." said jad. Mae took a deep breath then stepped in the forest, her team followed her and looked around the dark forest. "This place is weird... There's some dark trees in these parts, i mean literally dark trees, look.." said marc pointing to the trees that's darker than their shadow. "Weird... wait.. That's not weird, it's the sh-" Vhea was cut off because they've been blasted by a dark laser. "Argh! What was that!?".said Mae standing up and gripping her staff. "Is everyone okay?!" Said mae looking around the dark and foggy forest. "Damn, it's too foggy!" Exclaimed Mae.

Jad and marc stood up and looks around them. "Mae!? Vhea!? Pia where are you, Girls!?!" Marc shouted, Jad grip his long blade and looks around. "Marc..keep your eyes peeled.. Something is here.." said jad.
Marc looked at jad then took out his Large Laser Gun, Marc then gulps and circles around.

Pia and vhea looks around the dark forest, "tsk, we're separated.. "said Pia. Vhea looked around and heard a roar. "Shh... did you hear that??" Asked vhea, pia nodded and took put her two axes, Vhea took out her sword and looks around. "Stay alert!" Said pia. Vhea nodded. Then suddenly the shadow god appeared behind the two girl's back then swings it's hand to them causing them to be knocked back into the air and to a tree. "Ah!" Pia exclaimed. Vhea fell on the ground then looked at the god. "It's the shadow god..." said Vhea. The god roared at the both of them while it's charging up to fire another dark laser.

Marc and Jad heard the roar. "The god..." Said jad then he rushes towards where the roar came from. "Hey! Jad wait up!" Said marc running behind him.

Mae also heard the roar, "the god..." she whispered then runs through the forest. "Whoever finds it should be the one who will Defeat it....if they can... Jad can defeat it easily as well as me...but the others.. tch, i got to hurry.." she thought in her mind.

The shadow god roared at pia, The Valkyrie grips her two axes then jumped towards the god, the god then swings it's hand to pia then she knocked back on the ground and then the god fires a black magic laser to the fallen valkyrie . "Pia!" Vhea shouted then rushes to the shadow god and was about to slice off it's head. The shadow god glared at vhea then grabbed her sword. "Tsk! Damn it..." Vhea exclaimed then stabbed the God's chest, the god roared then disappeared in the shadows. Vhea dropped her sword then gasped. "It's gone...." said Vhea then she rushes towards pia. "Pia! Pia! Are you alright!?" Vhea kneeled down and looked at the Valkyrie. The fallen Valkyrie's eyes changed from blue colored eyes into black ones. "P-pia!" Vhea shouted to her.

Inside pia's mind, she was trapped in her own nightmares and fears. "H-hello??" Pia walked to the dark path of her mind. "Oh-no...." she said to herself and saw that the land of Catnes in all destroyed, pia lookes around and saw everyone from her guild all laying on the ground, dead and the land of catnes is all ruled by gods. Pia's eyes widen and kneeled down and cried. "T-this is...this is not happening! " she said to herself. "It's not happening!! " she shouted.

Jad and Marc reached Vhea and pia, "what happened here!?" Asked Jad. "It's the god! It blasted pia with some kind of Magic.." said vhea while looking at jad and marc. Jad sighed and put away his long blade and carried pia, "let's get her too safety.." said jad, "but what about Mae??" Asked marc. Jad looked around and then to Vhea and Marc ."you find our leader.. I'll head back to the city" said jad, "all by yourself!? But the god is out here somewhere.. we need to stay together! " said Vhea. "She's right... " said marc. "We don't have any choice! If we stay here pia might die! " yelled jad then he carried pia behind his back then head out towards back to the city. Vhea and marc looked at jad then sighed. "Find the leader.. you got it.." said marc.

Somewhere on the dark forest, Mae was lost. "Damn, Where is the road!?" Mae said to herself. Then she heard a growl on the trees. Mae looked behind a little scared then she gulps. "I hope that's not the god..." she whispered, then suddenly an Ogre came in walking to her about the size of the trees. Mae looked at the ogre and stand in awe. "AN ogre...." she said, the ogre growled and looked down at the little mage, "e-easy, Big Guy.. i-i'm just a little girl.. lost in the woods, would you help me find the road back to the city, please?" Mae asked the ogre in a cute way and nicely. The ogre Roared at Mae and grip it's wooden mace and was about to hammer Mae, but mae pouted then struck the ogre with his blue lightning from her staff, the ogre roared in pain and was fried like a chicken then fell on the ground. "Ugrhhh... Human, strong.." said the Ogre while laying down on the ground, Mae sat on the stomach of the ogre and pointed her staff to it. "Argh! Give up! No Match for Human.. " said the ogre, Mae smirked, "good thing you know that.. anyway can you find the road back to the city??" Asked Mae to the ogre, "City, Dangerous for Ogre..." said the ogre, "just take me where the road is" said Mae. The ogre growled and nodded slowly. "Ogre take you there..." said the beast. "Good" said Mae while smiling to the ogre.

The forest was dark and foggy for them to get out and the god is still in there hiding and waiting for the right time to attack. The shadow appeared on a cliff near the forest then roared to the moon like a wolf howling.
