Story 19: Mysteries That Needs To Be Solved

Miguel's team arrived at The City of Saint Ellen, there Ralph And Miguel battled the lightning god but before they can finish it off is disappeared, That is when they meet Paul, An Alchemist who spend his life to learn the secrets of the gods, he created a portal to another dimension to bring an end to the age of the gods...

Miguel split up with his team to find the god in the outskirts of town, Ralph, khimberlyn and kageyama patroled inside the town to look for the god and have high hopes of defeating it. "Uhmm.. Kageyama, is there something weird about paul??" Asked Ralph. Kageyama shrugged his shoulders and continued walking. "How should i know, that guy creeps me out.." said kageyama. "Hmm..how about you khim??" Asked ralph. "What kind of weird thing did you noticed anyway??" Said khimberlyn to the gladiator.

Ralph stood there in silence and looked at the two walking. "What did i saw weird you say??.. i mean.. what's weird is.... he displayed it to an open area.... also how can he study the gods?? The only ones who are studying them are the ones who are already in a guild.... libraries don't have information about the gods.... unless......" Ralph's mind was flowing with questions until he thought of an idea. Kageyama and khimberlyn looked back then saw ralph was gone. "Ralph??" Kageyama said finding the Gladiator.

Ralph has spilt away from the team and gone alone to see someone on a familiar building. "Ralph??" A figure walked right up to him. Ralph look back and saw paul. "Oh hey, umm i was just wondering... why did you built this kind of portal??" Asked Ralph. "Heh.. it's a long story... you see... i want to get my revenge to those gods....... they've killed my Guild mates.. destroy my guild... and took the ones i love..." said paul. Ralph stood there in awe and looked at the portal. "You want to eliminate them... because it attacked your homeland... " said ralph. Paul nodded and wiped a tear on his eyes. "This world is cruel now....since the gods appeared here.." paul walked right up to the portal. "i'm Just curious about something... what's the name of your guild anyway??" Asked ralph. Paul smiled and looked at ralph. "Empiral guards!" Said paul. Ralph nodded lightly. "I see..." said ralph walking away. "But... i want to thank you guys for coming in this town to put an end to the lightning God's wrath.." said paul smiling. Ralph stopped walking "don't thank us yet..." said ralph then he walked away from paul and the portal.

On the other hand Kageyama and khimberlyn stopped for lunch on a Ramen shop. "Ohhh... smells good!" Said khim smelling the ramen. "Just eat khim..." said kageyama while eating some ramen. "Sorry! It's just that we don't actually have a ramen shop back at Catnes that's why I'm excited! " said khimberlyn while eating some ramen Really quick. "Slow down!" Said kageyama then someone sit beside them wearing a black and white robe cape with some two sword equipped in his back. "Hmm.. what can i get you young lad??" Said the owner of the ramen shop. "Just a plain one..." said the guy. "Paladin??" Asked kageyama. The guy nodded and looked at kageyama. "What kind of class are you??" Asked the guy. "Weapon master..." replied kageyama. "I'm kageyama by the way.." kageyama held his hand to him and shakes hand. "Rolly " said The paladin. Khimberlyn looked at the both of them. "Here you are, boy " said the owner giving him his ramen.

"What's a paladin doing here all alone??" Asked khimberlyn. "Huh? Well actually i wasn't alone.... i was with some other four people but i left.... " said rolly. "And why is that??" Asked kageyama. Rolly just continued to eat his ramen and smiled. "I've finish my mission with them..." said rolly. Kageyama smiled.
"Do you have a guild??" Asked kageyama then khim looked at rolly a little curious. "Yeah... Empiral guards" replied rolly. "Ohhh... near the dessert of fiat right??" Asked kageyama. "Yeah that's the one.." said rolly happily. Khimberlyn rolled her eyes then saw ralph walking on the streets. "Hey! Hey! Ralph! You left us back then what gives??" Yelled khim. Ralph heard the mage and scratch the back of his head. "S-sorry..." ralph said while walking towards them. "Oh hey ralph.." said Kageyama. Ralph smiled and saw rolly. "Who's the new guy??" Asked Ralph. "Heh... I'm rolly..." rolly shook hands with ralph and smiled. "Oh.. I'm Ralph.." said the gladiator. After rolly finished his Ramen he stood up. "Ah alright! Guess I'm gonna go.. " said rolly to the three. "Hmm.. alright, great to know you by the way.." said Kageyama, khimberlyn nodded in agreement. "Yeah, same to you guys!" Said rolly while riding his horse. "Say hi to your guild, Empiral guards for us Rolly!" Khimberlyn shouted. Ralph eyes widen a little surprised and dropped his spoon on the bowl of his ramen. "Empiral Guards!?!....... i-it can't be..." Ralph's mind was shocked, "hold up! Did you just say Empiral guards!?" Asked ralph. Rolly looked at the gladiator and nodded. "But didn't that guild was destroyed back then!?!" Ralph asked. "What?? Who told you that anyway? Our Guild is one of the famous ones across the dessert of fiat.. and lots of Strong warriors are in there too" said Rolly while walking away from them in his horse. "Anyway... we're off, see you again.." said rolly waving his hand.

Ralph's eyes was widen and surprised. Kageyama walked to him and put a hand on his shoulder. "What was that all about??" Asked kageyama. Ralph kneeled down and looked at his hands. "H-he lied!?! W-why is that he lied!?! Could it be he's..... Hiding something!?! No... that can't be right... Something's not right here.. The guild is not Destroyed, he lied and a weird portal outside his building... he's planning something i know it.....n-no... i must act he's... he's hiding a plan from us....." Ralph's mind was confuse then he stood up and rushes towards the townsquare. "H-hey! Ralph where are you going!?" Khim shouted but ralph didn't hear her and continued to run.

on the outskirts of town, miguel was fighting a few goblins and walked right up to something. "Huh??" Said miguel, he saw another portal that's hidden outside of town. "A portal, tsk." Miguel said a little annoyed and slayed the last goblin. "What's it doing here??" Said miguel. Miguel walked further and saw that they're are hundreds of broken portals similar to paul, "wh-what is this?!" Miguel said a little surprised. "Someone's been busy here... and i think i know who would that be.. " said miguel looking back to the town.
"What are you hiding?? John Paul..." he whispered.
