Story 23: The Cave Of Solitude

Mae's team arrived at moonwalk city and decided to look for the god on the outskirts of town but instead the god found them and separated their group, Mae Encountered an Ogre who clearly knows the entrance and exits of the dark forest so mae 'convinced ' the ogre to show her the way back to the city.....

Jad and Pia kept running and running to the forest but the road is completely endless. "Damn! Where's the road!?" Exclaimed jad. Then a shadow followed him from behind without jad knowing it. Pia's eyes became more darker. Jad kept running then noticed something is not right. "Wait a minute..." said Jad, the shadow circles around The Sword master then jad noticed the shadow, jad layed pia on the ground gently then equipped his long blade. "I can handle this... don't worry pia.. I'll protect you. " said jad gripping his large sword tightly. THe god roared and blasted Jad with it's black laser, but jad blocked it with his long blade and exploded causing jad to be knocked back on the ground. "heh.. that's fun.." said jad to himself.

Mae and the ogre heard the explosion, "the god..." mae whispered then rushes towards where the explosion came from, the ogre followed mae behind. "Wait, Human.. " said the ogre.

Vhea and Marc heard the explosion. "Is that the god?" Asked marc to vhea. Vhea nodded and runs towardS where the explosion happened. "Come on marc! Who knows what could happened if that's mae or jad!!" Said vhea while running, marc followed her behind and equipped his gun. "Roger that.." said marc.

Jad grip his blade then stood up, the god roared at jad then charge right up to him. Jad rushes to the god and swings his sword to the God's arm. The god roared then glared at jad. Jad smirked then sliced off the God's arm. "Heh, Got you.." said jad then he jumped and planned to slice off the God's head but the god blasted jad with it's black laser came right out to it's mouth causing jad to fell on the ground. jad's eyes began to turn black like pia's, then on his mind his greatest fear happened.

Inside jad's mind, "where am i??" He asked then looked around holding his.gigantic sword. Then he walked towards the lighter path then suddenly he came across with his three brothers. "Ah! B-brothers!?!" Jad said a little surprised. His three brothers glared at him in disappointment, "you're an embarrassment to our family, jad.." his older brother said. Jad looked at him surprised then suddenly he kneeled down. "D-did the god...beat me!?" He asked himself. "Our family will be disappointed in you " His other brother said. "We already are.."said his older brother . Then the three of them laughed then glared at jad kneeling down. "I-i......." he stutters.

The god roared then approached jad and pia about to blast them with it's laser but suddenly. A blast of water came out from the woods and hit the god. It was mae gripping her staff. "Stay away from them!" She yelled then from her behind the ogre came in rushing to the god and hit it with the wooden mace the ogre was holding. "Human said no hurt!" Said the ogre, mae blinked then smiled a little. "Ogre! Get pia and jad!" Said mae gripping her staff and aiming it to jad and pia. The ogre nodded and rushes to jad and pia. The god roared then blasted the ogre with some black laser on it's back. The ogre yelled in pain. Mae's eyes widen then quickly looked at the god and aims her staff to it.. "you're gonna regret that!" Said mae a little angry.

Vhea and marc kept running into the woods but they've stopped when they reached a cave. "D-did we took another route?? " asked Marc to vhea. Vhea slowly walked to the cave and noticed a dusty totem. Vhea tilt her head and wiped off the dust and saw some words written on it. "The cave...of solitude.." said vhea reading the words. Marc looked at the cave then to vhea. "What does it say about it??" Asked marc. "It says that.. whoever walks inside the cave will never be able to go outside again..??." Vhea said a little confuse. "Hence the name.. you'll be trap inside if you go there.. said vhea standing. "Oh...so it's better if we avoid it.. Let's go find the god.." said marc then he rushes back where they've came from. "Right.." said vhea then she followed marc from behind.

On the other hand the god chase the ogre and Mae. "Ogre! MAke sure jad and Pia will be alright, I'll take care of the god.. " said mae while running. The ogre nodded while carrying jad and pia and running. Mae stopped then grips her staff and looks around the forest. The ogre kept running and running until it's separated from mae. The mage closed her eyes then heard a roar from behind her she quickly looked bavk and saw the god about to blast her. "Oh-no!" Mae yelled then she dodges the laser before it can hit her. The god roared and then glared at mae, Mae uses her water magic to create a force-field made out of water around the god. the god tries to escape the force-field but it failed. Mae aims her staff to the god and narrowed her eyes. "I'll see you on the underworld you sick freak.." she said then struck the water force-field with lightning causing the god to roar in pain and exploded causing mae to be knocked back towards a tree. Mae shook her head and looked at the god. "N-no way... i-it survive the explosion!? " said mae a little surprised. The god slowly stood up and points it's hand to mae, about to blast her with a dark laser. Mae's eyes widen in fear. "W-why can't i move!?.. i-i know I'm not afraid.. but why am i trembling in fear!?" Said mae in her thoughts a little afraid. Then the god blasted mae with it's dark laser but suddenly a girl with blue armor and a golden sword took the blast instead. "Vhea!" Shouted marc. Mae eye's was surprised and looked at vhea. "V-vhea!?" She thought of it. Vhea's eyes became black then saw her greatest fears inside her mind.

In vhea's mind she opened her eyes and looks around the dark room where she is. "W-where am i?" Said vhea. She stood up then saw her father glaring at her. "F-father!?" Vhea said happily. Her father yelled at her. "Shut up! Do you think i didn't know that you left our family because of some stupid guild!?", vhea was surprised then slowly took a few steps backwards. "F-father... i-i.." she stutters in fear. "No reasons! You left your mother whose dying!? We're all ashamed of you!?" Said her father. Vhea looked at him about to cry. "I-i.... did all.. that for her.." she said. "Do you think she'll be proud!? Does everyone on your guild know that they have someone like you on their guild.. pathetic! " he said, vhea then kneeled down and covered her ears. "S-stop it! Please!" She shouted.

On the real world, Marc slowly picked up and carried vhea, "mae! We have to go!" He said. The god roared at them then swings it's arm to them. Marc manage to dodge it as well as Mae. "We have to find the ogre! It has jad and pia! So Let's go!" Said mae still a little frightened. "Mae.... " marc whispered noticing that she's al little afraid, marc clenched his fist then equipped his large gun and blasted the God's chest causing it to fall on the ground. Marc rushes to mae and carry her as well. "Let's get going! That mknster won't be able to follow us for a while!" Said marc carrying the two girls and his gun. Mae looked down a little embarrassed and scared. "Why can't i...protect them..." she said in her mind while being carried by marc. The god turned into it's shadow form and followed marc.

On the otherhand. The ogre manage to get away along side with jad and pia. "Human pretty slow.." said the ogre then it sat on the ground beside jad and pia. The ogre didn't know that he's about to battle the shadow god and protect Mae's team on the forest, The ogre don't know that he's about to become a part of something good....the ogre was sitting near the cave of solitude waiting for Mae and the god that they're about to defeat.
