When Tenzin walked into the temple where you and Korra were practicing you knew something was very wrong.
"What's wrong Tenzin?" Korra asked halting her stance.
"Tarlok." He groaned sitting down on the marble almost like he was defeated.
"The other councilman with the ponytails?" You asked sitting next to the air bending master.
"He is assembling a task force to fight Amon." Tenzin sighed. You noticed Korra tense.
"Oh no." You breathed looking at his brown grey eyes. He was so concerned.
"I am afraid he will try to recruit you and Korra." Tenzin confessed.
"That won't happen. Right now authority figures like him hate me." Korra scoffed. You rolled your eyes at her and walked after her. Walking to your room you heard crying. Gently you knocked the door opening it without a seconds waste. You found Korra curled under her blanket shaking. You walked across her room slipping under the covers facing her like we used to as children.
"Korra?" You whispered, Korra lifted her eyes staring at you with watery almost electric teal orbs.
"I am so scared (YN). I can't be but I am, I can't almost lose you again. I can't face Amon that firstly ever." Korra sniffles. You wrapped your arms around Korra hugging her.
"Korra. Its okay, you don't have to play the I have the world on my shoulders card all the time, I am terrified right now. For boyhood us. It was terrifying being that close to him. Someone with that power. It was just to scary to even comprehend." You said softly. Korra looked up at you through her lashes.
"Enough of that. What do I do about Mako. I really like him and all it just scares me almost as much as Amon does to just think about telling Mako I love him." Korra laughed sourly. You looked at your best friend.
"Mako is great and so re you bit if he doesn't like you I know someone does." You told her before rolling off the bed and walking to your room where Neva greeted you. She threw herself on your lap looking up at you with her icy blue eyes. You scratched behind her ears humming a familiar song.
"Leaves from the vine, falling so slow like fragile tiny shells drifting in the fall. Little soldier boy comes marching home brave soldier boy, comes marching home." Neva had fallen asleep and listening to her steady breaths you fell asleep too.

The next morning you woke up about noon and sighed in relief realizing it was you and Korra's day off. IT was the most beautiful thing you had experienced in a while (Excluding Mako's eyes...and hair...and face). You rolled off the bed with a thud dragging yourself off the wooden floor your hair falling into your eyes. You decided to leave it down for now. You then realized Korra had practice with the boys, and you were very late. You threw on a pair of brown pants and a (FC) tank top and sprinted down the street skidding around a corner bumping right into someone. You looked up and saw Hasook.

"Hey Hasook." You smiled politely even though in your head you were ripping his head off.

"Hey, your the Fire Ferrets mystery fan, right?" He asked smiling at you. Once you got past the fact eh was a jackass he was kind of cute.

"It's (YN)." You laughed. You watched the water bender shake out his dark brown locks.

"Well miss (YN). How have you been?" He asked smirking down at you. He was taller than Mako and Mako towered over you. A car honked its horn at you and you two realized you were standing in the middle of the street. Hasook literally picked you up and in three strides he was across the street. You looked over his shoulder trying not to blush. You watched in terror as a familiar face walked across the street just in time to get hit by a gorgeous girl on a scooter.

"Thanks." You smiled at him. His brown eyes glittered with interest. "I've been better, you?" You answered his question.

"I've been free. Its nice not having the control freak and the freak around." Hasook chuckled. "Am I right?" He laughed now. Mako was walking across the street now his gaze hardening.

"Not really." You hissed. Hasook stepped towards you threateningly.

"I said. Am I right?" Hasook said. He really was a jackass.

"And I heard you." You snapped. Hasook wrapped an arm around your shoulder and you leapt away.

"Okay maybe that was a bit, much about Mako and his brother but let me take you out to lunch." Hasook smiled politely and it scared you. You watched Mako walk past quickly there goes your plan of escape.

"Fine, I heard the water tribe noodle place near here is good." You said afraid that if you said no he would make a scene right here in the middle of the street. Hasook place a hand on your mid back as he guided you towards the shop right as it was in sight he turned down an alleyway. You almost wanted to scream when he corned you but you could see the dagger in his pocket. He lunged and you ducked out of the way rolling away sending him face first into the brick wall. Hasook attacked not with the dagger but with water. He smacked you right across the face with a solid ice block. You were instantly unconscious.
