Chapter 9

The story starts where Rei met the the girls.

Matsuo's POV

I was walking around the school when I heard big slllaaapppp. I stopped and walking toward the sound to figure it out what's going on.

As I'm heading behind the school, I heard some arguments. I peeked my head and saw Rei was trapped inside around the girls. Rei was now holding her red cheek that I can see it clearly.

My heart ache abit. I tried my best not to rush in and save her. Don't know why I got this feeling, it just started when my brother came home that day. Seeing Rei and Haru were getting along so well, my mind told me to take her away from him but I shook those thoughts away while thinking what's wrong with me recently.

I brought back from my thought when a girl slapped again on Rei's other cheek. I cannot take it anymore.

I burst in and yelled "Hey you guys! What are you doing to her?!"

The girls quickly looked down at their shoes, afraid to make eye contacts with me. But one of the girl stood out as she managed to explain " W-well...she g-got us pissed off s-so we decided to give her a l-lesson..."

I felt angry what they did to her. My anger took over me as I yelled at them "SCRAM!!"

The girls was scared and quickly ran off. Once they were all gone, I came in front of her. It's hurting me to see her hurt. Without hesitation, I leaned down grabbed her chin and kissed her on her lips.

I sensed her froze but I just kissed her. I knew she was shock about this, I just wanna make her feel better. The kiss didn't last for long 'til I pulled away.
She was blushing so red just like a red tomato, eyes on her shoes. It's cute though.

When she looked up and stared at me, I quickly turned my head away and blushed. It's my turn to blush. Shit...

"S-stop staring at me" I demanded at her. She stopped her staring but looking everywhere except me. I hope she had not gotten the wrong idea so I explained.

"Don't get me wrong! I was just, trying to make you feel better...." I mumbled the last sentence so she can't hear me but she won't let me go.

"What? I didn't hear you" Rei put a hand around her ear.

"I said I was just trying to make you feel better, ok?!" I shouted annoyed.

Then Rei burst in laughter, which made me felt embarrassed. After a whike, she stopped as she breathed the air after all the laughing.

I pretended to cough and started to leave her there so I can go away without getting any more embarrassment. But she followed along behind me.

Then I heard she muttered a thanks but I don't think I heard it clearly so I stopped walking.

"What?" I asked.

"I said thanks, for helping" She spoke out as she looked down at her shoes fiddling with her fingers.

I laughed.

I seriously laughing.

You should see her face when she's thanking someone!

When my laugh died down, I stepped forward to her, ruffling her hair with a grin. Ohh...she's into my charm but I ignored it.

"You're welcome. I wish I could see your face again when you thank someone" I snickered at her.

She really angry now. I can see it from above her head, it was making smoke like a volcano because of her anger.

I winced all of the sudden because SHE just stepped hard on my foot. I jumped with my one foot as I held the other one to stop the pain.

SHIT! THAT WOMAN! I SWEAR I'M GONNA KILL HER WHEN I GET HOME! I'M NOT GONNA SAVE HER AGAIN IF SHE'S GET IN TROUBLE.

School's over

Finnnaalllllyyyy! The school was over so I can go home fast and have a talk with Akane with laughing and joking. I rushed out the building and saw Rei and Haru together at the same time.

My heart squeezed tightly as I watched them two. Get it together, Matsuo, snap out of it! I walked past them without greeting them and heading in the limo. I told my butler to get me home. As soon as he heard me, he quickly started the engine and drove off.

The limo pulled off in front of my mansion as I stepped off the limo heading inside the mansion. Then, I slammed my door close after I went inside. Calming my anger, I began to think.

Should I bring her a medicine for her cheeks? Hmm....maybe I should...or not....

Well....I should then

I changed before going out to the nearby pharmacy to buy medicine for her bruise cheeks. I headed back, stepping inside of Rei's room instead of knocking on her door.

The sight in front of me made me freeze in the spot, it made me blushed as well. My subconscious urged me to turned around and leave but I just froze there.
